There are a lot of items and weapons in the game, with all sorts of different stats, and my question is whether I should reduce the amount of items, reducing the diversity but allowing for specific items, or keep a large amount of items with various stats, despite there being a large amount of repeats.

Also, regardless of which option is chosen, it is possible that most items will receive a full revamp in preparation for 1.0, so certain items may get buffed/nerfed accordingly.

UPDATE 1.0 IS BEING WORKED ON AND MAY BE RELEASED SHORTLY. ALL BOSS FIGHTS WILL BE PUT ON HOLD UNTIL THE UPDATE IS FULLY RELEASED. ALL BALANCE CHANGES WILL BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

ETA: Around tomorrow evening or the next day, depending on how long balancing takes. The reason I'm pausing boss fights is due to the amount of unique balancing efforts that I have to do consistently. Unfortunately, this could interfere with my moderation of the game. You can submit actions, but please do not begin a boss fight or do anything too complex.

 

I vote for less diversity, if choosing it makes it easier to balance and puts less load on the GM.
