    NOTICE:
The event is now over! If you managed to claim a boss bounty and wish to claim it, contact @NagisaStreams in-game, on the Forums, or through his Discord (NagisaStreams#5715).

Here are his more direct words from a discord screenshot on the Wynncon Discord:

Thank you, and congratulations to all who won!

THREAD UPDATES (In case I need to add/change something):
Shout out to the mods for adding "(non-official event)" to the title. That was likely a smart move that I forgot to do...

Real quick, I edited the post to include a couple of new pieces of important information that I forgot to include in the original copy-paste on my Google Doc:
    • If you are currently banned from the Wynncraft network, you may still participate in the event, HOWEVER you are unable to claim Boss Bounties.
    • The main event time goes from August 7th @ 1 PM US Eastern Time to August 8th @ 12 AM US Eastern Time. There is a possibility of a time extension if an overwhelming amount of people still want to experience this event, and were unable to do so within this time period.
The Wynncon Trailer also has had its Discord Link removed to fit within Wynncraft Forum guidelines.
I will also be adding some media/visual information regarding the Blademaster class within the next 12 hours, as well as adding a numerical IP, with agreement and established boundaries from the Cow Man himself..

Sorry about forgetting to include these tidbits of information!
The Blademaster section has gained demonstrations and media in order to better demonstrate it before its released. Hope you enjoy!
We have received some new donations, and as such the prizes have been increased accordingly:
    • Bob's Reincarnation: 3 -> 4 Stacks
    • Death: 3 -> 4 Stacks
    • Plateau of Reflection: 1 -> 2 Stacks PER CLASS
Also, a player will be unable to claim multiple Plateau of Reflection class bounties as a new rule.
We have received some new donations, and as such the prizes have been increased accordingly:
    • Darkness Incarnate: 5 -> 6 Stacks
The time the event starts has been fixed to 1 PM US Eastern Time! I accidentally made it 12 PM Eastern Time due to the fact that I leave in Central time.

    So sorry about the mixup!

(The Discord Link has been removed from this video to keep within Wynncraft Forum rules.)
(Mods plz don't remove video again, or DM me what I need to cut out from it)

What is this? Can it be!?
    Novalescent is alive???

Yes, indeed it is! It is time for Wynncon 2021! We are excited to finally unveil this event, because a lot of time has passed, and a lot has happened.

For those who don’t know what this is, Wynncon is an unofficial, semi-annual event hosted by a small team of passionate community members. The goal is to celebrate Wynncraft and its success by hosting fun minigames, challenges that will make even the most seasoned veterans question their skill, and of course, giving out Liquified Emerald Rewards.

Wynncon will last for 1 weekend only, starting August 7th @ 1 PM US Eastern Time and ending August 8th @ 12 AM US Eastern Time. However, with the content we’ve provided for this year, it may be possible that we’ll extend the duration of the event if a large majority of players need more time to experience the event fully. We’re excited to share with you all what we have in store, and there’s quite a bit! So sit down, and let’s talk about what you can expect this year.

    Wynncraft Systematic Recreation

“Wait, Wynncraft Systematic Recreation? Sounds technical and boring.”

Well, you’re kind of right, except on the boring part.

Wynncraft Systematic Recreation (WSR for short) is the primary system that Wynncon’s features are run on. Besides their own additions, WSR recreates most of Wynncraft’s important systems and features as accurately as possible to recreate the experience of playing on Wynncraft itself! This will be present for the entire duration of the event, so you don’t have to feel so far away from normal Wynncraft gameplay.

    • Recreated Classes and Spells - Well, of course we’ll need these. They’re the basis of Wynncraft itself! Classes and their spells have been recreated, along with polished visual and audio effects. All players will start at level 106, which is the current maximum level at the time of this thread, so you will have access to all spells and upgrades. You can also freely switch between classes if you wish.

    • Recreated Items - Not recreated per say, just imported from the API. Most, if not all, of Wynncraft’s weapons and equipment has been imported into Wynncon. Each item will have the best Identifications it can achieve, so no need for rerolling. Most of the Major IDs have also been recreated for items that have them, however a couple of them have received some minor tweaks, such as Guardian’s Major ID.
    • Rank/Guild Synchronization - Pretty self explanatory: If you bought an in-game rank, are in a guild, or both, then that information will be ported over to Wynncon so you can show off your Guild or Rank. Keep in mind that this will be the only feature from Wynncraft that will be synced over. Character information and inventories will not.

There are some features that are NOT included in this. These include:
    • Powder Specials (Weapons & Armor). Not only do these heavily break the PvE content balance, but I could never find the time to actually implement them.

    • Crafted Items. The complexity of this system was too high to be worthwhile, and similar to Powder Specials it could also break the PvE content balance.

    • Several Major IDs: Taunt (This is actually built-in to War Scream here), Magnet, Lightweight (There is no fall damage here), Greed, Freerunner (There’s unlimited sprinting here), Calvaryman, Plague, Peaceful Effigy, Furious Effigy.

I believe that it’s safe to say that while spending time on Wynncon, it’ll feel similar to as if you were playing on Wynncraft itself. Hell, maybe we will be able to replicate the lag! That’s something I’ve been trying to achieve for a long time.

    Custom Wynncraft Classes

“Wait, WHAT!? CUSTOM CLASSES!? Like, classes that cast spells and have mana!?”

    Yep.

    The Blademaster [Close-Ranged Melee Class]

This is a class that was created in my spare time for fun. However, apparently I cared about it a lot more than I thought, so working with Atlas Inc. (AIn) and various other minds, we were able to balance this class out properly.
Now, it is about finished, so why not give it a proper test run to see if it’s an actual “good” class by trying it out on Wynncon itself? (Of course, this is an entirely different environment)

The Blademaster is a custom and unique class, focused around single target elimination and weaving both melee and spells in to get its maximum benefit. It is a very difficult and high-skilled class to play, requiring precise casting and management of spells.
It primarily specializes in close-ranged combat, and has an innate defense of 110%, which is slightly between Assassin and Warrior’s innate defenses of 100% and 120% respectively. It's weapon of choice is, of course, a Sword.

Swordsmanship (Passive) - Main Attacks and certain Spell Attacks will generate Swordsmanship Stacks. These stacks increase your base Main Attack damage by 10% per stack. Attacks that generate Swordsmanship Stacks have a cooldown between generation. You can have up to 5 stacks at a time for a total of 150% base Main Attack Damage. These do not decay naturally, and are only diminished via spells.

Main Attack - Swings your Sword forward, dealing damage to the target in front of you. This cannot hit more than 1 target, and does not have a cleaving hitbox.
    • Damage (0 Stacks): 100%
    • Damage (Per Stack): 110/120/130/140/150%
    • Range: 5 Blocks

Successive Strikes (Right-Left-Right) - Sweeps out in an arc in front of you, striking twice at enemies dealing Damage. If you have at least 1 Swordsmanship stack, a final strike occurs that deals heavier damage and applies a debuff that increases your damage dealt against that target. This final strike subtracts 1 Swordsmanship stack.
    • Damage: 65% per hit (15% Air and Thunder Conversion)
    • Final Strike Damage: 120% (15% Air and Thunder Conversion)
    • Final Strike Debuff: +35% Damage against Target (10 Seconds, refreshable)
    • Cost: 5 Mana
    [IMG]

Dash (Right-Right-Right) - Dashes forward a decent distance and launches you forward, gaining a short speed boost at the end, dealing damage to enemies along the path and pushing them in the direction of your Dash. Holding Shift and casting Dash will cause you to do a 180-degree turn at the end instead.
    • Damage: 120% (40% Air Conversion)
    • Distance: 10 Blocks
    • Buff: +50% Walk Speed (1.5 Seconds, refreshable. This Buff works in tandem with normal speed effects, such as Archer's Escape)
    • Cost: 3 Mana
    [IMG]

Execute (Right-Left-Left) - Swings your Sword downward on your enemies in front of you, dealing heavy damage that is proportionate to the amount of Swordsmanship Stacks you have and consume them all. If you do not hit with Execute, the current amount of stacks is reduced by half.
    • Damage (No Stacks): 100% (20% Thunder and Fire conversion)
    • Damage (With Stacks): 200/350/550/800/1200% (20% Thunder and Fire conversion)
    • Range: 5 Blocks
    • Cost: 8 Mana
    [IMG]

Blade Echo (Right-Right-Left) - Swings your Sword with force to create a slashing echo, launching forward quickly and dealing damage on impact to the target hit and applying a Slowness debuff. Enemies next to the target hit will be launched away a decent distance.
    • Damage: 125% (20% Water and Air Conversion)
    • Debuff: Slowness III (3 Seconds, Refreshable)
    • Cost: 4 Mana
    [IMG]

The Blademaster is most likely the first real "Custom Class" that can be properly showcased to the public. This isn't just another Class Suggestion on the forums, but a real, playable class that you can try for yourself. We are really excited to see what you think of it in terms of its feasibility in PvE, such as mobbing and bosses.

As stated though, Blademaster is a difficult class to play to its max, and requires practice. However, pull off your combos correctly and you will be dealing hefty damage, possibly nearing 100,000 damage in a single Execute given the right situation.

Blademaster Weapons can be acquired for FREE from weapon vendors in Wynncon. They have all types of weapons, including Mythics!

A special thanks to Atlas Inc. (AIn) for helping create and balance Blademaster's weapons. I'm sure we would have made something worse if we had done it ourselves.

The Blademaster class will be present throughout Wynncon, available for use in one way or another. I highly encourage you to at least give it a spin and see if it's for your liking. Do note however that Blademaster is designed much more differently than Wynncraft classes, so it may feel somewhat out of place.

Please remember that these are Custom Classes, meaning that these are NOT implemented in Wynncraft, nor do we believe that their implementation is planned for the future.

    Festivity Games

As Wynncon is a festival of sorts, it needs minigames for it to be one. As such, we are presenting Festivity Games this year!

Festivity Games are party games that you can play with your friends. Up to 8 players can participate in these games, so be sure to bring your friends with you to play, or join with different players to make new friends and memories.
There are 11 minigames that you can play. Each has their own unique premise and connection to Wynncraft, whether it be through class niches or notable features about the game. Festivity Games are randomly selected, so it may take awhile to go through all of them. What are these games you might ask? We're not gonna tell you, so see for yourself!

Something important to note about this is that Festivity Games are completely instanced, meaning that your group will be in their own space to play these games compared to other players. No need to worry about interfering in other people’s games.
You can create your own Festivity Game Instance and customize the amount of games, max amount of players, and the “note” attached to the Instance, as well as determining whether it’s a Public or Private game by inputting a password.

We’re excited to see what you think of these Festivity Games. This is something that we completely lacked last year, and we want to make it up by making these the best that they can be. We hope you have as much fun playing these as we did!

    Bosses & Bounties

Speaking of Bossfights, let’s talk about those shall we?

Wynncon is all about celebrating Wynncraft, and one of those ways we celebrate it is by recreating some of Wynncraft’s most iconic bosses, as well as implementing some of our own.

Wynncon Boss difficulty is COMPLETELY different from Wynncraft Boss difficulty. Each boss has their own unique set of abilities and gimmicks. Many of these abilities you will not find in current-day Wynncraft. They are challenging in their own right, and most require a high level of teamwork, strategy, and learning to defeat them. They are not for the lighthearted, and take a significant amount of tries and learning for the average player to beat. However, with the challenge provided by these bosses, I feel I can say that you will experience a great boost in your skill level and confidence from defeating and being defeated by these bosses.

Some of these Bosses are from the previous Wynncon event, however they have been tweaked to be somewhat different and harder than before. So even though you may have soloed it dozens of times, try again with our new changes and see how well you fare.

Similar to Festivity Games, you can create your own Instances and tweak the max amount of players and whether it is a private instance or not.

Hm, but wait, “Bossfights & Bounties?” What about the “Bounties” part?

This year, there are special bounties tagged to each boss. These bounties will reward you with real Liquified Emeralds once the event is over. You can claim these bounties by being a part of the first group to win against these bosses! The reward will be split amongst all participating players. You can choose to go claim the bounties with your friends, or try your hand solo and snag the entire reward for yourself.

Claimed Bounties will be distributed by our team on the Wynncraft Server once the event is over. More information on how this will work will come in the future.

Something to note about these bounties:
    • THESE ARE ONE-TIME CLAIM ONLY. If a group has already claimed this bounty, it can never be claimed by anyone else. Essentially, there is a “race” to see who can get the first win.

    • If you leave midfight or after you die, you will not be counted in the win.

    • Spectating a fight will not qualify you to claim the bounty.

    • Completing a bossfight with Custom Items will not count for these Bounties.

    • If you are currently banned on the official Wynncraft network, you are unable to claim bounties.

You can track all Wins by right-clicking the Bossfight entry to see who has won against the bossfight.

So, gather your class builds and companions, and dive into the depths of Wynncon’s Bossfights.

Ragnar, the ‘True’ Hero [Tier: Solo/Small Party]

To become a true hero, you must prove yourself to be one. Ragnar, the 'true' hero of Wynn, has been looking for the opportunity to duel those who he believes to be a false hero. Face him, and prove him wrong, for this battle will just be the beginning of many to come in this event.

Note: This was designed as a “Tutorial” bossfight. However, it’s still fairly difficult. This bossfight was also inspired by @corpe music piece, Wynncraft UST - The True Hero!

Liquified Emerald Bounty: None (This is a Tutorial Bossfight)

    Corrupter of Worlds [Tier: Party]

Most likely, this will be your first “real” challenge for a boss fight. The Corrupter of Worlds is here, and its ferocity and mindbreaking capacities have only increased...

Team up with players to face off against this evil once again, and prove yourself worthy of being a Legend once again.

    Liquified Emerald Bounty: 2 Stacks

    Bob’s Reincarnation: Reckoning [Tier: Raid]

One of the most iconic bossfights in Wynncraft is making its appearance here in Wynncon. Bob has arrived to test your skill once again. Team up with players to face off against him once more, and lay claim to Bob’s mythical arsenal of weapons.
Be warned however, as this will be no ordinary trial…

    Liquified Emerald Bounty: 4 Stacks

Tower of Ascension: Death [Tier: Raid]

Atop the Tower of Ascension lies a being known as “Death.” Although he was later debunked as an impostor, his strength was unmatched by most of his enemies.
And so, Death has returned once more.
Venture to the pinnacle of the Tower with your companions, and defeat Death and his allies once more.

    Liquified Emerald Bounty: 4 Stacks

Qira, Mistress of the Hive [Tier: Raid]

Qira has warned us in the past about an impending war, a war that could possibly determine the fate of the Realms. With this war coming seemingly closer, she is determined to test you once more.
Return to Qira’s hive, descend into her lair, and best the Mistress once more. Be warned though, as no one has ever been given the same test twice...

    Liquified Emerald Bounty: 4 Stacks

Darkness Incarnate: Finale of the Realms [Tier: World Class]

In the distant future, when we have reached the realm of Dern, the Dern Beast waits for us atop his throne. When we attempt to destroy him, he will not be destroyed easily…
Gather your strength and your allies, and aid in the destruction of this final form of the Dern Beast. Defeat him, once and for all, to restore the lost balance across the realms.

    Liquified Emerald Bounty: 6 Stacks

    Plateau of Reflection [Tier: Solo]

When all other enemies tremble before you, when your allies kneel before your achievements…
There is only 1 other foe who refuses to do so. The foe who you have walked in the shadow of. The perfect image of what you aim to be.

    Your “perfect” Reflection.

Liquified Emerald Bounty: 2 Stacks PER CLASS (This bounty is claimable for the first-time clears on Warrior, Archer, Mage, Assassin, and Shaman. Players cannot claim more than 1 Plateau of Reflection bounty. Blademaster will not count).

Wynncon Bossfights are meant to take the skill and mechanics of Wynncraft, and push them to the heights that we hope Wynncraft will achieve some day. We believe that these boss fights will be a memorable experience for many, whether you stand victorious against all of them, or continue to try and stand against them.

    Custom Dungeon

So maybe you don’t want to have a 1-life challenge and want something more “normal.” That’s fine, which is why we have Dungeons.

Wynncon Dungeons are fairly linear, yet open in some regard. They contain multiple bossfights and challenges that parties must overcome to be granted rewards.
In Dungeons, you have unlimited lives, and the only “lose” condition is if you decide to quit after too many tries.

Like Festivity Games and Bossfights, players can generate their own Dungeon Instance and determine the amount of players and privacy level of the Dungeon.

    The Runic Vault

Based on the lore of the Olms, the Runic Vault contains some of the lost magic of the Olms, specifically the Runestones, powerful items that manipulate strong amounts of mana to unleash strong spells.
Of course, like all Vaults, it is heavily guarded. Assemble a small party of your favorite Vault Robbers and dive into the Vault to retrieve these Runestones for yourself!

    Wynncraft PvP Reborn

We know that there are some of you who enjoy PvP, so let’s bring that to the table shall we?

We had this last Wynncon, but Wynncraft PvP is back, and now (hopefully) more balanced than ever! Wynncon PvP has been balanced around the chaotic hack n’ slash of the Wynncraft genre, and we’re happy to be bringing it to you this year.

For those interested in the balance changelog (And there are A LOT), you can view the spoiler below to see the full changelog. These changes only take effect in PvP, and not in PvE.

    Core

    • All Damage taken is reduced by 76% (Final damage is reduced, not base. Includes Poison, Thorns, and Reflection)
    • Passive Mana Regeneration is increased by 1
    • Walk Speed is capped at 100%
    • Jump Height has been capped at 4
    • Poison is capped at 9,000/3s
    • Thorns and Reflection are capped at 40%, but its damage is increased by 25% (AFTER damage reduction). It is also no longer reduced by 50% initially.
Example: Take a 2,000 damage hit (After DR). Multiply it by 25%. That’s the Thorns/Reflection damage.
    • Health regenerates every 10 seconds instead of every 4 seconds
    • TOTAL Health Regen has been soft capped at 2,500 health/10s. Everything beyond that is reduced by 85%.
    • Health Potion Healing is reduced by 25% (There's only 1 healing potion, and that's +4500 HP. It's amount is reduced to +3375 HP)

    Skill Points

    • All skill point "functionality" caps have been lowered to 120 points. You can still gain additional elemental damage from going to 147 points.
    • Strength's damage bonus is capped at 60%
    • Dexterity's Crit/Double Damage Chance is capped at 35%
    • Intelligence's Spell Cost Reduction is capped at 55%
    • Defense's Damage Reduction is capped at 40%
    • Agility's Dodge Rate is capped at 37.5%

    Warrior

    • Bash now has a radius of 3 blocks (from 4)
    • Uppercut now deals 300% + 125% + 125% (from 300% + 50% + 50%) damage, now moves slightly faster, has a slightly bigger hitbox, and takes less time to knock down the target by a substantial amount. However, its range was slightly decreased.
    • Charge now launches you somewhat faster.
    • War Scream now gives 10% Resistance (from 20%)
    • Reduced Warrior’s innate defense to 110% (from 120%)

    Archer

    • Arrow Barrage now deals 20% damage per arrow (from 10%)
    • The Hawkeye Major ID deals 90% damage per arrow (from 80%)
    • Escape now gives Speed II (From Speed III)
    • Bomb Arrow has a radius of 3 blocks (from 5), however now deals 275% damage (from 250%)
    • Arrow Shield's Arrow Rain now deals 100% per arrow (from 250%)

    Mage

    • Heal now heals for 5% + 2.5% + 2.5% Health, and its water conversion has been reduced to 0.33% extra healing per Water Damage% point (from 0.5%).
    • Teleport now has a base range of 10 blocks. Consecutive teleporting will start to reduce TP distances (10 -> 9 -> 7 -> 5 -> 4 blocks). To reset the reduction, you must not use Teleport for 3 seconds.
    • Meteor falls much faster and has an AoE radius of 5 blocks, but its afterburn damage has been reduced to 100% (from 125%) and its radius reduced to 6 blocks (from 10). You can also have multiple Meteors fall at the same time.
    • Ice Snake has a slightly shorter distance.

    Assassin

    • Spin Attack now deals 130% damage (from 150%), blinds for 1 second, applies Slowness IV for 2 seconds, and has a radius of 4 blocks (from 5)
    • Vanish now gives 65% damage bonus (from 80%), however it no longer saps mana (It still halts Passive Mana Regeneration however), and the Mana Regen ID is able to tick through Vanish. However the amount of Mana Regen is halved while vanished.
    • Multihit’s range has been reduced to 4 blocks (from 5)
    • Weathered’s Major ID, Roving Assassin, now grants you 8 seconds of Vanish, and reduces your next spell casted while vanished by 1 mana (Not applicable for Vanish costs).

    Shaman

    • Totem healing is capped at +850/s and no longer deals damage over time, however the Totem’s launch speed has been increased so it arrives at its destination faster.
    • Haul pulls slightly less.
    • Aura's can no longer pull nor imprison players, its radius decreased to 12 (from 15), and its damage reduced to 175% (from 250%). However, the growth speed of Aura is faster.
    • Uproot now has a reduced mana cost of 5 (from 6)
    • Reduced Shaman’s innate defense to 45% (from 50%)

    Blademaster

    • Dash now has a dash range of 8 blocks (from 10).

For this year’s Wynncon, players will have access to take on the status of Hunted Mode for open-world and in-city brawls, Dueling Arenas to go head to head against other players, and Battlegrounds which are team-based gamemodes where you fight for domination.

So, if you enjoy player chaos, then PvP may be the right feature for you to try out. There’s a lot of it here.

    Hunted Mode

Hunted Mode is similar to that of having it toggled in regular Wynncraft, where you can Sneak + Right Click with your Soul Points to toggle it on and off. While toggled on, you can engage in open-world combat with other players who have Hunted Mode toggled on. This includes inside and outside safe zones, so feel free to have open brawls within the walls of the City.

Don’t worry, you won’t lose items if you die in Hunted Mode or suffer penalties. Wynncon Hunted Mode is purely for the sake of fun and anytime FFA combat. We’re sure that you’ll enjoy this as much as we did while testing it.

    Dueling Arenas

Dueling Arenas are a great way to partake in 1-life 1v1s, 2v2s, or 3v3s against players in an extended matchup. Here, players will have a larger health pool, so you can duke it out for a longer period of time than normal.

Similar to most instanced content, Dueling Arena instances can be created by the player, and can be set to be private or public based on your needs.

    Battlegrounds

If you’re looking for something more large-scale and team based, then this is the gamemode for you. Battlegrounds are team-based arenas where you are randomly assigned a team and go head-to-head against another team. Work together to seize a victory and lay waste to the enemy!

Battleground instances can be created by the player, and you can create public or private instances based on your needs, and decide the player count for the match.

PvP is an aspect of Wynncraft that we want to promote more through Wynncon, and we’re excited to do so. We hope that you’re excited as we are to run through the PvP Gauntlet once more!

    Guild Integration

Wait, Guilds have features in Wynncon!? Amazing.

Wynncon is made for the community’s enjoyment, and a large majority of that community is a part of a Guild, small or large. This year, we’d like to support Guild activities on Wynncon in a larger way than previous years.

When logging into Wynncon, your Guild will be synced up into Wynncon’s data, and you will join the “Guild” on Wynncon itself.
Your Guild on Wynncon will have access to an in-game Guild Chat (/g <message>), as well as viewing Guild Members who have joined Wynncon so far and have been integrated into the Guild. This is useful for coordinating Wynncon guild activities or talking with your guild privately through Wynncon. Wynncon Guild Chat does not show or relay messages to Wynncraft Guild Chat.

As for Guild specific activities, there are a couple of them. They are activities a special handful of you may be familiar with from your previous interactions with me…

    Guild Showdowns

Guild Showdowns are a feature where 2 Guilds can go head-to-head against each other in a large Guild PvP arena, with up to 36 players able to take part in an 18v18 chaotic match-up. The 2 Guilds can determine spawning formations, preparations, etc. Do note that this fight is entirely instanced.

To challenge a guild to a Guild Showdown, Captain Ranks and above can use the /guild pvp request [Guild Name] to request a Showdown from that guild (if they are present). A recipient guild can type /guild pvp accept/deny [Guild Name] to accept/deny this request. Once a request is accepted, the menu is open and Guild Members can begin signing up for the Guild Showdown.

Guild Showdowns yield no benefit. Their primary use on Wynncon is to provide fun PvP competition for guilds who want to go head-to-head.

    Guild Halls

Yes, this is basically Housing, but for Guilds.

Guild Halls are a way for Guilds to have an instanced space to have fun. Within Guild halls you can converse, host Guild Games like Laser Tag, and in general have a fun hangout space for your Guild Members. You can even toggle on Hunted Mode if you wish to have a Guild Brawl within your space.

    Other Small Features

    • You can invite players into your Guild on Wynncon for free by talking to the Guild Master.
    • You can invite players into your Guild Hall on Wynncon by talking to the Guild Master.

Personally, Guilds serve a special place in my heart in Wynncraft. Maybe it’s due to the minor involvement I’ve had with them, maybe it’s due to the communities that I’ve seen form within them. Either way, we are hopeful that these features for Guilds will make them have a greater presence on Wynncon than in previous years.

    Misc. Features

With the major content out of the way, let's talk about the miscellaneous features and changes that you can expect to see during Wynncon. Some of these are minor, while others are fairly important or useful:

    • Guardian's Major ID has been completely reworked, and will now transform your War Scream spell into Guardian Aura, a defensive spell which will grant you and your allies 30% Damage Reduction, and heal other allies by 2% of your Maximum health.
    • The Rally Major ID has had its healing nerfed to 3% (from 10%). It proved to be way too strong in terms of sustainability for Wynncon content.
    • Players have an Options Menu in their Character Compass, where they can tweak particle amounts and toggle on/off Music.
    • You can change/transmogrify your armor to look like anything you’d like. This includes colored leather armor, so go full rainbow!
    • You can save, load, and share your Class Builds and Sets in your Character Compass via the Class Builds Menu. There is also a Class Build Repository, which is a public Repository in-game where you can share your class builds with everyone, or find a Class Build that's right for you if you have trouble making one.
    • You won’t have an Ingredient Pouch, but instead will have your personal Magic Bag which is 54 additional slots to hold extra items and equipment.
    • If you need to update or resync your Guild or Rank data at any time on Wynncon, you may use the /updatedata command, which will grab your data from the Wynncraft API and re-establish your rank and guild.
    • Similar to last Wynncon, there is no sprint bar, so you have unlimited sprinting.

    Wynncon Stress Test

This is not only a stress test for the server, but a stress test for me as I pull my hair out figuring out why the server is at a measly 10 ticks per second (TPS).

This year, a stress test for Wynncon will be needed more than ever. With the content being delivered, we need to be sure that the server we’re hosting it on will be able to accompany the large number of players that we could be expecting this year. We do not want to let this year’s Wynncon be a lag fest, especially with what has been told about here today.

From this stress test, we will be able to gain the following information:
    • Optimizations we need to perform
    • Bugs we may have missed (With the amount of content, there's bound to be a few gamebreaking ones...)
    • Minor features/changes that we could implement to improve Wynncon’s quality of life
    • The realistic number of players we can have on the server at any given time (I estimate only 100).

The Stress Test will be hosted on July 31st @ 1 PM US Eastern Time for all players to join for a couple of hours. We encourage everyone to join to try and break and lag the server as much as a 50-man Eldritch Outlook run would on a normal day of Wynncraft. We will also have a couple of Bossfights and Festivity Games open that we believe could potentially lag the server to hell, so please test those out for us as well.

    Conclusion & Credits

Wynncon is an event that means more than you can imagine to us on the Wynncon Team. We’ve poured a lot into this year and we hope that this announcement has made this evident. We are excited to see how this year will turn out for us, whether it is the success we have dreamt of, or it is a spiraling effort as lag takes over.

As this year’s Wynncon comes ever so closer to happening, I would like to thank the people who have contributed to Wynncon 2021 this year in some fashion to make this event a reality:

Also, a special thanks to those who helped me create the trailer for this year's Wynncon:
(If I missed your name in the credits, please DM me and I'll add you)

We hope to see you all in some fashion for this year’s Wynncon. We promise that we will do our best and continue to work even now to make sure that it is the best that it can be.

And as a final reminder, Wynncon is not, in any way, affiliated with Wynncraft, nor its Admins or Content Team. All of this content is fan-made, and is by no means part of the official Wynncraft network.

Thank you for reading, and as always, feedback is appreciated!

do wynncon bosses still deal either incredible amounts of raw damage or true damage, while having like 20 million hp, as well as enough walkspeed and hpr to effectively nullify any non spell builds?
also is stuff like uppercancelling dead or incredibly finicky?
