So How Long Is A "long Wait" In Salted Time

(also if your wondering, I did have a rune in my inv)

 

I'm pretty sure it just always gives a medium wait time.

I've seen fast and very fast before but never worse than medium

 

I wonder if medium is the max to not discourage people

so how long us long then? anything >15 mins would be quite a long wait for block game raid

 

i love the raid finder conceptually but its really bad in practice for a number of reasons so most active raiders dont usually use it. some of the main reasons its bad is due to requiring you to be within the general vicinity of the finder (unsure of whether its completely intentional or a technical limitation) which is extremely inconvenient, and also it forcefully bringing all players to a completely new world. you can have a party of 3 in a fresh, new world with open slots and use the finder to find an additional player and rather than logically bringing them to you, it will often bring the entire party to a much older, and typically laggier, world. it would also be nice if it displayed active players/parties searching akin to the normal party finder for easier planning. right now the best ways to actually find a raid party is either via asking friends, your guild, or using #looking_for_group in the wynncraft discord. most of the active raiders search and use that channel including myself, and i promise that we dont bite (most of us, panda does though)

 

ive joined a raid queue before with a medium wait time, the timer resets when it hits an hour

 

I've found that litterlly just bugging anyone near the raid is leagues better than the raid finder

 

Don’t know, waited on medium for about 50 minutes once and nothing happened. Haven’t actually ever found a party from the system

 

time to write a suggestion on how to improve it

 

I think 5 mins or lower should be short
5-15 mins should be medium
15 - 30 mins should be long
and 30 mins or more should be very long

Raid finder should get revamped, I use the normal party finder so I can wait till the members join and I can level my other profiles

 

Its not that, its how the finder works in the first place

 

Definitely didn’t watch 2 hours of yt and never find a party with the raid party finder. Totally not meee

 

tbh the party finder is a better way to form a raid party than the raid finder imo
