We have finally returned after a half-year hiatus.
Presenting to you...



We are the Zealous Savants.

Now you may be asking, who are we? What do we do? What is our goal?

As members of the Zealous Savants guild, we are also part of what is known as the Furret Mafia. The Furret Mafia is an organization made of members who share the same goal of working together to defeat the spread of corruption. The Zealous Savants is the main sect of the Furret Mafia - specializing in intellect and skill to find the way to prevent the demise of the Wynn Province and the Fruman Kingdom. If you are interested in the history of the Furret Mafia and the Zealous Savants, check out the spoiler below. If you are not that interested in that type of stuff, you may proceed onward.

Spoiler: ZSV and Furret Mafia Lore

As the current members of the Zealous Savants, we all know that we have one goal in mind: to stop the corruption from invading the lands of Wynn and Fruma. However, you may be asking:


“Why are we doing this?”


To understand why our sole purpose is to unite as one to prevent the demise of the Wynn Province, I believe that it is proper that I tell you of the humble beginnings of the Zealous Savants and why we are so passionate about this cause. At first, you may think that we have just recently created this guild; as you can see on the Wynncraft stats page, it even shows that the creation date of the Zealous Savants was the 15th of April, 2020. However, this guild has a more extended past than all of you might have known. Now it is time that I tell you of the secret history of Zealous Savants; it is now that it will be revealed to the world how it all began.


It all began a few months after Fruma has wholly isolated and secluded itself from the outside world. There were orders to completely shut the Fruman walls due to the spreading corruption, barring humans and the like from entering and leaving the kingdom. Chaos started to ravage outside the walls, and sounds of screaming villagers can be heard coming from the Ragni outskirts miles and miles away. Fear rapidly spread throughout Fruma; its citizens cried alongside their own families, hoping that they won’t be swept away from the eldritch and powerful beings trying to conquer the lands. This feeling of fear, combined with the absolute strict authoritarian rule of the queen, left many citizens living in Fruma extremely hopeless. Many grew cold and started to contemplate what the final years, months, hours, or even minutes of their lives would be like because they were unsure when the corruption would take over the kingdom.


There had to be a solution to this. So, driven by the Queen’s trepidation that the kingdom would collapse if nothing were done to combat the fear dwelling in everyone’s homes, she decided to hire one of the most renowned knights, Sir Akhshan Furretto. It was Sir Akhshan’s task to lead a secret group that would be the ones to help relieve the citizens’ anxiety and fear and be the only ones who were allowed to go outside the walls to scour the surroundings for any signs of the beasts. This group was eventually recognized as the same name as it is today, the Furret Mafia.


This secret group consisted of Sir Akhshan Furretto and six other members, whom the queen has given special permission to reside at the castle. Each of them was given a particular task. Sir Akhshan and his co-leader, Madam Rial, were given instructions to ensure that the walls are secure so that not a single speck of darkness was found within the Fruman lands. For the remainder of the Furret Mafia, they were tasked to keep the streets of Fruma free from any terror and fright through any means possible. For years, the group members fulfilled what they commanded by the queen for every day of their lives. Everything was going fine; nothing seemed out of the ordinary other than the occasional mob encounter.


Although the efforts of these Furret Mafia members were considered to be highly inhuman due to the extreme devotion to their duties, they were ultimately just human. When the time came, 56 years after the creation of the Furret Mafia, Sir Akhshan Furretto passed away due to natural causes. The ownership of the Furret Mafia then transferred to his partner, Madam Rial, as she led the group for 13 more years until she eventually succumbed to the same fate as her predecessor. This cycle of changing owners became a habit as the group grew and more members of the Furret Mafia came to be. Thus, generations upon generations came with the Furret Mafia, although growing in size, remained in secrecy under the royalty’s supervision.


Centuries later, the Furret Mafia became the underground secret agency responsible for protecting Fruma from the still ongoing spread of corruption. At this time, the current leader of the Furret Mafia was Don Igedo Furretto, and he currently led a group of 130 members. At this point, due to the sheer size of the Mafia, members would dwell in temporary shelters outside the walls to keep their positions hidden from the general public.


Don Igedo, alongside his partners, Sir Lespecit and Sir Notyahn, were tasked by the Fruman Queen to watch over the Mafia, ensuring that nothing goes wrong. And they did just that. For several months under Don Igedo’s leadership, everything ran smoothly with the Fruman Walls. Everything was going well, until one day…


Unlike previous owners of the Furret Mafia, Don Igedo was much more of an open thinker. While those who came before him obeyed the commands of the royalty of killing every being of corruption that comes close to the walls, Don Igedo was a curious fellow. It would make sense to obliterate all darkness approaching the borders completely, but one day, Don Igedo wondered,


“Why are we just killing these creatures? There has been an onslaught of corrupted souls who have attempted to enter our kingdom, and all we have done is kill them? At this point, there is no point just to kill them since our mere mortal souls can’t possibly defeat an idol of grandeur. So there has to be a way to end it all!”


Driven by his captivation to find a solution, Don Igedo went over to a small village near the kingdom’s edge to find the most potent alchemist known to the Frumans, Sir Kumi. After wandering day and night, Don Igedo finally arrived at the village, where Sir Kumi greeted him. Don Igedo tells Sir Kumi about stopping the darkness completely so Fruma can finally be free from the spreading corruption. Initially, Sir Kumi was very skeptical about Don Igedo’s request, saying that it was nearly impossible to defeat the being of corruption simply.


It would take the power of a being who has proven their worth alongside some type of magical power to beat it.


Although hesitant to help, Sir Kumi agreed that protecting the kingdom constantly for hundreds of years is tiresome. An end to seemingly never-ending fear would grant relief to all the Fruman citizens. So he tasked Don Igedo to capture a single being of corruption from outside the walls to conduct experiments. In response, Don Igedo rushed to the wall and lowered the side gate, although it was not safe to do so. He waited outside for an hour when he finally encountered a corrupted soul heading towards him. Using his power and magic, he captured the being and rushed back to the village. Upon arrival, Sir Kumi immediately started working on experiments. The experiments happened for months, with the thoughts of success floating around Sir Kumi and Don Igedo’s minds. One day, however, things turned for the worst. A little act of negligence caused the being to escape the alchemist’s hut, and after just a few hours, the entire village met its demise; the corrupted soul has sucked the life out of the poor villagers. During this time, Sir Kumi and Don Igedo were meeting with Sirs Lespecit and Notyahn in the mafia headquarters to plan how to utilize whatever would have come out of the experiments to wade the corruption away. However, little did they know, it was now the end.


The following day, guards of the Fruman Queen barged into the headquarters and took Sir Kumi and the three leaders of the Furret Mafia to the castle to called in. Not knowing what had happened in the village, the four members were confused about what has happened. Once they were brought before the throne, the queen let out an immense outrage about how the corruption has overtaken the village at the kingdom’s edge. It was announced that due to this incident, panic spread wide throughout the empire and that an investigation ensued right after bystanders found lifeless bodies by the farms. Without hesitation, Sir Kumi confessed that Don Igedo had requested him to research the corruption to find a way to stop the spread and that Sir Lespecit and Sir Notyahn were also informed. The queen was furious and immediately ordered the executions of Sir Kumi and Don Igedo due to their actions. Sir Lespecit and Sir Notyahn were also sent to their deaths for being complicit in such a crime since it was explicitly said that all corruption must be killed on sight.


This day was very tragic since just a few weeks before the incident, Fruma just started opening the kingdom to send recruits to Wynn to help combat the corruption. It was the first time in ages where Fruma has allowed people out of the Fruman Walls other than the Furret Mafia. As a consequence of their leaders’ actions, the remaining members of the Furret Mafia were sent out as soldiers to Ragni instead of being able to stay within the walls. They were banished so that another incident like this would not happen again.


Now, fast-forward to the present time, descendants of the Furret Mafia currently reside within the Wynn Province. This is who we are now; we are those descendants of people who swore to protect the people from the corruption. And now, we still hold the very same goal. As we unite as one and gain more members to support the cause, we continue to make our promise that everyone will be safe. Our sworn duty is to save this world from corruption, but we still lack the knowledge to find out how to defeat the Beast. This is where we stand today.


The emergence of the Zealous Savants is the start of a new beginning of the Furret Mafia. With this guild, it is possible to achieve what was once thought to be impossible. We promise, with fervent zeal to our cause, we shall prevail over whatever adversities we may face!

Yes, obviously as I have stated before, our main objective is to work together to defeat the corruption. But as of today, June 28, 2021, there isn't an absolute way to do so. However, you know what we can do?? Work together! As a community guild, what we aim to do is create a family that can always communicate with each other! Whether it just be Wynncraft related or not, you can always utilize our Discord server to make friends and talk with each other! Need help with a quest or boss? Feel free to message any of us! We'll try our best to help you all out!

2. Be respectful of each other. We try our best to make the place as chill as possible!
3. If you are inactive for 1 month, we will, unfortunately, have to kick you out. However, if there is a valid reason, then we can reconsider.
