I'm not really sure that your friend is doing anything wrong - having less than one LE is definitely normal pre-level 50, and it seems like they've done a fair amount of quests. I firmly believe Wynn is whatever someone makes of it, if your friend is having fun they're playing the game correctly.

That being said, if he's ever stuck on how to proceed, let us know and we'll help him out quickly!

Professions aren’t really worth til endgame when u can get gathering do boost armor. Also cause they aren’t really good til u get professions to lvl 100, and u can’t really do that when ur combat is low

Yes, they are a waste of time because as the other guy said you can't level them up effectively until you're max level and even then they take forever to level and only become useful once they're at or near level 100 with the exception of cooking and potion making, though you should only really need potions going into the endgame anyways.

 

If you like it, by all means do it. I find them fun myself. But just know that it’s inefficient and useless for now, so don’t expect profit.

??? tf do you mean they take forever to level? 1-110 literally takes 2 hours with some decent boosts and dxp weekend + bombs, so at the very most it would take maybe 6 hours normally lmao

It depends on your gear, easily done 6 hours mining and I'm only level 65...

Even so, you don’t need dxp weekend at all. You could easily get lvl 110 in a gathering with only 6 hours of time spent on it without dxp weekend.

the guy is like level 40, no champion rank
you expect the guy to have enough money to get decent boost armor, or even be high enough level to wear them? and dxp weekend; those are like every month or so. bombs? unless you have champion, prof worlds are practically impossible to get into, especially on dxp weekends
and then consider the fact that they cant oneshot mobs because of their level. they might even die while profing
6 hours? when i was doing it, 10 hours got me to like level 90. and id expect it take this guy 20+ hours to get to 110, given that they seem relatively new to the game

consumables are optional but yeah they can be expensive
