Name Change Repercussions

    Hi!

    I've been wanting to change my minecraft IGN for a while now, but I'm wondering if there are still repercussions of doing so. I remember back in 2016 or so, changing my username would cause a lot of issues guild-related (e.g. can't leave the guild). I'm wondering if this is still the case or if there is still anything I should be aware of.

    As far as I know, you should be completely fine to change your IGN

    I changed my IGN a few days ago, the only problem was that the old one was still in the guild and not the new one so I had to be kicked and reinvited. It can also take a while to update in the database (most notably meaning that your forums profile will show the wrong one), but that doesn't affect gameplay or anything, it's just a visual thing.
