Yes this is common knowledge for most people who will reply to this thread but it really isn't to the majority of the playerbase aaaa

    Strength:
    Before 1.20.3
    Effectively a Spell/Melee% boost.
    Also boosts poison!

    After 1.20.3
Multiplies final damage by its %, acting additively to dex crits.
    Still boosts poison!

    Additional Elemental Damage Bonus:
Earth damage bonus that acts like Earth Damage% ID.

    Dexterity:
    Before 1.20.3
Effectively 100% Spell/Melee% boost on crit.

    After 1.20.3
Doubles final damage on crit, acting additively to strength.
    Poison still won’t crit.

    Additional Elemental Damage Bonus:
Thunder damage bonus that acts like Thunder Damage% ID.

More clarification about what str/dex do
Let's say you do 1000 damage and have 50% melee damage and 50% strength

Because strength is additive right now, you will do 2000 damage on a melee hit (1000 + 500 + 500)

with the strength/dex changes making them multiply final damage, you would do 2250 [(1000 + 500) x 1.5]

What you're probably asking as well is what they do with each other WITH the strength/dex changes

After the changes, they'll both work on final damage but work with each other

Similar example, let's say you do 1000 damage and have 50% melee damage and 50% strength BUT also have dex

With the 1.20.3 changes, you'll do 2250 after strength and 3750 on a crit.

If they were multiplicative with each other instead of additive with each other, they would do 4500. That's what happened in hotfix 6 but isn't happening for 1.20.3.

    Intelligence:
After applying intelligence, the result gets rounded up to become your spell cost.
Therefore points in int won’t matter unless they hit a threshold!

    Some important ones:
    41, 68, 94, 105, 129
    ⅔, ½, ⅜, ⅓, ¼ (of original cost)

    Additional Elemental Damage Bonus:
Water damage bonus that acts like Water Damage% ID. DOES NOT COUNT TOWARDS HEALING.

    Defense:
Exactly what it says on the label.
    Final Damage reduction%.

Does not reduce poison as of this video.
Also basically doesn’t work in pvp
(Acts as an additive damage reduction, effectively -damage% ID, doing very little)
BUT thankfully pvp is irrelevant enough

    Additional Elemental Damage Bonus:
Fire damage bonus that acts like Fire Damage% ID.

    Agility:
    It’s not walkspeed.
    Not sprint either.

    Dodge chance.
Chance to not get hit, if you prefer.

Very very strong when combined with Defense.

    Additional Elemental Damage Bonus:
Air damage bonus that acts like Air Damage% ID.

when 1.20.3 comes out, would str/dex act the way that they did during 1.20 hotfix 6?

The video and the forum post kinda address that but

They'll act the same with one exception: They'll be additive with **each other** instead of multiplicative with each other (hotfix 6)

    Basically:
    Class focus:
    Warrior - Earth - Strength
    Assassin - Thunder - Dexterity
    Mage - Water - Intelligence
    Shaman - Fire - Defense
    Archer - Air - Agility
    This is super basic.

This is just wrong. Intelligence is extremely valuable on every class and defence and agility will always be more valuable than strength and dexterity. The elemental conversion of spells hardly means anything and even then they're not necessarily consistent with the elements you listed. How exactly is Shaman biased towards fire? Its main damage spell deals water damage and totem healing is further boosted by water damage. There is no reason inherent to the classes themselves that drives them towards any one element. The idea that the classes somehow each have a respective element is based on nothing more than the observation that "Oh hey, these elements vaguely have something to do with the concept of the class!" and has nothing to do with actual game mechanics.

Unpopular opinion, but when it comes to raids you are best of playing fire mythics for the most part.

You got 200 skillpoints by default + items. The whole argument of having one skillpoint for one class or even build path is just pointless

Yeah this is kinda completely wrong because any class can do any ele AND str/dex as extra skill points still suck relative to the other ones

I'd assume you just went off of what you thought sounded cool, and have probably only played like 2 out of the 5 classes? And even then, what is it supposed to be based off of?

If you were basing off of the Uth weapons, this would still be wrong; Zephra Shredder (Warrior) is Agility, and Alka Cometflinger (Archer) is Strength

If you were basing off the rainbow mythics, this would still be wrong; Singularity (Mage) is Dexterity, Fantasia (Shaman) is Intelligence, Nullification (Assassin) is Defense

If you were basing off the elemental spell conversions, this would still be wrong: Arrow Storm (Archer) has Thunder and Fire conversions, Meteor (Mage) has Earth and Fire conversions, Aura (Shaman) has Water conversions

    1.20.3 doesn't change that statement

up to 1.8x damage (2.6x with both)
    vs
up to 5x ehp (25x with both)

Combine that with how wynn content's balance is warped thanks to defensive sp and I think the answer is very clear.

Yeah fair enough, I guess compared to the dumpster fire of a stat that was before though I overestimated a bit. Also funny 300k quakes since they haven't nerfed heavy melee items yet
