One Thousand Meters Under Bugged?

I just got back from the Void Fields, with the crystal recipe, but whenever I try to go into the back room to talk to the scientist, it plays the beginning-of-quest cutscene. I saw a tutorial for the quest, and they got teleported to a completely different place than me. They got teleported to the scientist, but I got teleported to the lift nearby. Any help would be coor

 

You might need to go into the ship and replay the quest again, you probably skipped one of the quest phases

 

You had to speak to the scientist when you came back, he's in the room that you get teleported. You have to do it again sadly :(

I'm going to bump this, because I'm having the same trouble after almost 3 weeks.

Is there any way that I can just delete the quest (not remove it, but delete my progress)?

Quests cannot be reset unfortunately

 

Problem still happening, but now another quest is bugged for me - in The Fortuneteller quest, I climbed the beanstalk, get teleported into one of those black chambers, then I get teleported down without having the opportunity to talk to the dragon. This has happened multiple times.

 

not sure about 1km under sorry, but for the fortuneteller that's a thing that happens when you miss a quest trigger along the path - walk back towards kandon-beda a bit from where the beanstalk starts until your quest book updates, then try planting and climbing it again
