Information: Wynncraft Has Been Ddosed

I see a few confused threads appearing about this subject so I will fill in those who don't know:

Somebody decided today that they would DDOS Wynncraft, Hypixel and a few other servers. Nobody knows why, but if they are caught they can go to jail as it is a felony.

The Wynncraft team is working hard to bring the server back up and I wish them luck on doing so.

On a side note, an anti-p2w Youtuber called the Horizon did make a poll about Wynn and is worried that he may be responsible. This is unlikely as Wynn was not the only victim.

It is entirely possible that this is the cause since it describes crashing it and it being p2w, but I see it more likely that the perpetrator included Wynn with Hypixel and Mineplex in their mass-DDOSing since Wynn is constantly mentioned on the Hypixel forums

From what the Horizon said, I doubt he did it himself since he seemed very pissed about it in those tweets and said that anybody who would do that is disrespecting 7 years of hard work
The Horizon seems somewhat understanding of Wynn and its economic stuff, and was likely curious about the whole ''champion is pay to win'' drama

 

I wonder why so many people voted yes, maybe because it’s more or less not as well known and people just blindly voted, huh.

 

Or maybe Champion is actually pay2win.

(edit: though it being pay2win is undeniable, the extent of it is pretty tame compared to some other servers when champion slots are out of the picture.)
