How Did Y’all Play Wynncraft On The First Play Through?

Didn't know quests gave XP and emeralds till I was like level 40 so I would just grind mobs or do the silverfish dungeon for hours, also thought VIP town was Detlas.

 

Started in 2016 after seeing a Grian video on the server, did quests until level 61 where I got bored of grinding herb cave and went on a 2 year hiatus, returning occasionally and getting bored again. Eventually, I decided to make a full comeback and grinded past 61, finally progressing in the game. I then reached my level 90s and was bored again, but I was more involved in the community so I came back quicker and grinded to 100 and finished the game.

 

Took me a good few years, and I went really slow when I was playing.

 

I joined in 2015 and started out as an Archer. I explored the world a lot, looking for quests because my computer couldn't use the F3 function to bring up coordinates. Took me a month to get to level 25, slowly exploring and trying to figure out how to find dungeons. I eventually filled out each class slot, finally settling with assassin after getting each class to level 35. Kept playing and now i've maxed out 4 classes, only needing to finish up Mage.

 

Took me like 5 years to get to level 100 haha, then about a month to get my second character to lvl 100. Funny huh, all that effort into the first and by the time I'd finished it was easier than ever, also considering I only managed to hit lvl 45 when the max level used to be 70

 

I hit 75 on my first class like a day before Gavel came out and I was heartbroken that they increased the cap, especially when it was pre gameplay update and it took too much grinding to level more

 

That's quite lucky but at the same time annoying as you then had to go through all those lower level gavel quests, and it was 1 billion times harder to level up in those days. At least you can say you reached the cap when it was 75 ;)

 

lets see. i started with mage till around lvl 45. than finally assasin wasn’t vip+ only annymore. So i started playing cuz back in the day assasin was op af. i lvld to i think 60/65 than gavel came out played a lot got lvl 100 after i think 2/3 months. i did some dungeons and some quests but grinding was a lot faster back than so. got that class to 101 by doing csst in the end i did all the quests and discoverys but i deleted the class m. Rip

 

When I started, quests weren't even implemented yet. I just killed Detlas sheeps until I got bored.

 

I mean... technically speaking I still haven't reached lvl 106 after 7 years. Nor did I have the max lvl at any point in time before the max lvl was 106. So let's just say that most of this first playthrough these last 7 years I've spent procrastinating.

I joined a month after Gavel dropped and 7 months before the Gameplay update. Back then, the highest level quest was Fantastic Voyage at 90, and xp boosts affected quests as well. Eventually I learned to stop doing quests at the last stage, wait for a DXP bomb, put on xp armor, and finish as many as possible to get all the experience.
I was stuck at the low 90s for months, grinding was far more painful back then too. 20 minutes of DXP inside TOA 6-3 got me 10% of the way from 92-93. It wasn’t until the gameplay update and Demon Cave that I got those classes to 100.

really, nothing's changed since then

 

i found the server because of a thumbnail on Yogscast Martyn (InTheLittleWood)'s video. Rather than watch the video I thought to personally discover the server for an authentic experience.

I got my friend and we started together. Each session we tried to explore a new town in Wynn, eventually grinding at Saint's Row until the last spell was unlocked (lv. 31). After that I conveniently quit for 2 years, and upon returning Gavel existed. I played consistently until Corkus was released (maybe i was salty they made an April Fool's joke real) and quit after finding out FF was boring (and rude).

After that I saw SE and that's about it. Been disinterested in the game because I don't have any notable weapons (only finding boots in lr).

 

I did all the quests, cried tears of joy once I'd reached Troms because the Jungle was a merciless hell after surviving the Great Bridge and its jitterclicking magma cubes, got shredded by CoW, shredded him back, then grinded for weeks at the ToL to finally reach level 75.

Then I did that again on every other class.

Then Gavel came out.

 

First-first playthrough I have absolutely no idea what I was doing. I was a dum dum kid back then so I was just goofing around until I inevitably reached a certain point, got stuck, and quit wynn for like a large period of time.

Come hypickle groundsphere, I see a wynn forumer posting memes and I decide to revisit the game. Grinded a little professions in the beginning, got bored and found out it was pointless early-game apparently, and have since been doing quests cuz idk if there's anything else you can really do.

Fun game but can't really play rn tho because I have no computer lololol.
