Help I Am Being Stopped From Progressing

so uh hello, this is my first post, created a forum account for this.

my issue is with the bank ender chest. i have 3 slots currently, and they are all full, and i need to buy a new one,when i do, my cpu fan starts dying loudly, promptly followed by my game crashing. i use a slightly modified version of the wynntls mod, called wynntils upgraded lite, whicvh as the name suggests is a slightly changed version of the wynntils modpack, made to increase performance on lower end devices (me). i have literally tried this on 2 different laptops, and i still couldnt get a new bank slot if my life depended on it. help me please,

have you tried doing this on an unmodded version? also, are you sure wynntils light is safe? ive never heard of it

 

consider not using wynntils? or any mods? also use 1.12.2 if youre not already

 

Is there a crash log?

It's a 1.12 modpack. The mods look fine, although Foamfix's page says it's not compatible with tex fix, while tex fix says that it is. Maybe disabling one of those (I suggest disabling tex fix. Doesn't seem to do quite as much as foam fix).

 

Actually 1.16.5 is completely stable and has a few extra sound effects. I’d say it’s better than 1.12.2.

 

Wynntils is a 1.12 mod. As I mentioned im using a slightly modified version of it to give better performance. I could try just playing on lunar like normal and see if it's an issue with the mod pack.

Yes im sure it's safe, I only got the mod today, previously I just used lunar. Could be a modpack issue but I only started getting it a couple hours before making the post

 

as everyone else has said, turn off wynntils and report back if it's still busted

 

What are your PC Specs?

 

ok im guesding it was a wynntils issue, i went on lunar client and tried it, and it worked, guess ill just have to do that every time i wanr to buy more slots :D
