I see we can have pets in these wonderful lands of adventure! My question is ARE they worth it? Can you loot them or store purchase only? Does which pet(s) you choose make any difference or is all cosmetic?

difference is all cosmetic. you get a free chicken pet and can get wybels in free crates, but all other pets need to be purchased.

What pets essentially do is they accompany you in battle and help deal damage, and having 3 out of course increases their combined damage.

Having 1 pet deals the full pet damage.
Having 2 pets deals 1/2 pet damage each; adding up to the full pet damage.
Having 3 pets deals 1/3 pet damage each; adding up to the full pet damage.
