Looking For Some Tree Building Tips

Does anyone have some tips for building trees? I have a really great idea for my housing island, which involves building a fairly large tree (I'm thinking maybe cherry blossom?) but I'm honestly clueless when it comes to building lol. I had found some blueprints for a pretty cool tree online, but they were kinda hard to follow so I think I'm just gonna freehand it, but like I said, I have absolutely no idea how to build. So if anyone can help out it would be very much appreciated!

 

So what kind of scenery will it be? Tall big trees? One's that grow kind of sideways because of wind? There's a lot of different ways to build a tree, so I think you may want to include what kind of tree you want to see in your build. (of course you can just plant- uhhh never mind)

 

I'd say watch GeminiTay or Smallishbeans, as they build really nice trees that are easy to follow.

Apart from that, just get some pictures up, or go and look at some, and take inspo from real life - it will help.

Do you have access to a server that has w/e and voxelsniper (doesn't even need those plugins tbh)? Because if you do, I'd mess around with tree designs until you find
something cool. It's a lot easier to make something in a creative world first, that way you can redo it if necessary without having
to spend hours taking down what's already there. And as for tree building advice, I'd try to focus on getting good branch shapes first, and work on the leaves
from there. And of course YT tutorials also help.
