Psa - Armour Stands In Houses

I had two armour stands on my housing plot which contained a GXP set and a LQ/LB set with a Discoverer on it, both disappeared along with all the other NPCs on the plot somehow after switching worlds and class. Of course I tried to contact a mod and submitted a bug report on it but it's been a few days now with zero responses and it doesn't look like it's gonna be addressed anytime soon judging from the piling pages of bug reports.

I had hoped to at least to... recover the Discoverer, whether it's by rolling back the plot, searching through the data to see if the stands are still there somehow, etc., but now I see that there is a No Refunds policy which I think is extremely dumb, since there is zero recourse after losing what people spend probably months on to obtain through a glitch. Since the armour stands are tied to Champions, that adds another bugged perk to this already defective rank. People should be aware of this when purchasing it.

Just be warned that this is another potentially game-breaking bug, your fortunes could be wiped in an instant and there's nothing mods can and will do for you except say that they'll look into it and say sorry that it happened. It's also my fault too though, for placing something so valuable onto an armour stand, even if I didn't know it would just poof in an instant from a glitch. Since this is the way the game and moderators treat items regardless of their value, I might just toss all the stuff I own into lava before I take a long hiatus or quit.

Honestly, the no refunds policy is bs. You have sufficient evidence that you’ve lost an item you’ve worked on for months? Nope.

I can understand it is difficult for the team to work on all claims, but in cases where it is very obvious they should work on it.

Having such bugs and not helping victims of these bugs is in my opinion a very bad thing, especially because it came with a perk people paid real money for. In a way, you did not get what you paid for.

Currently this game feels like a minefield when it comes to losing items or bugs in general. Losing items due to /itemlock being bugged or friends losing items on the trade market. I am genuinely afraid to put valuable items on my armour stands, because I anticipated it would bug after the housing update.

When people are afraid to do things in your game and make memes about the frequent bugs, you should know as developers your game is in a bad shape and need to reassess your methods and team.

People pay real money for this game, fix these things.

 

honestly i wouldn't risk putting mythics on a build stand for this reason exactly

i'm not willing to risk losing something like that to a stupid bug
