Got Spawn-killed While Afking In Efilium And Lost My Unobtainable Boots

I died in reclaiming the house and respawned in Efilium because it is the nearest so I kept afking for a while knowing that it should be safe to afk in a town/city.
Found myself got spawn-killed so many times that my soul point is 0 and all my items(execpt untradable ones) lost, including a high-quality Cerid's Ingenuity (https://www.wynndata.tk/i/cerid's+ingenuity) which is said to be unobtainable other than from trading. (Edit: some say that you can get it from corrupted dungeons, idk if it is real)

I don't think I will be getting my items back for free but at least make it so you won't die/won't take damage/won't get targeted by monsters/won't lost soul point when you die in a town? Doing this can not just prevent losing WHOLE INVENTORY by having mobs bugged into the town(actually I went to Efilium just once before and get attacked by monsters in the town too but I forgot it until now)(once I nearly got killed in Olux BANK by a horde of monsters), but also can save low-level players accidentally walked into a dangerous place and can't get out because they die right after respawn. Or kick players who are afk or are getting spawn-killed? Or just make towns that aren't monster-free not a spawnpoint.

And the thing is, there aren't any bank in Efilium and I lost all my scrolls and armour. I can't get out now(any monster can kill me in a few hits).

They may be fixing it just like they fixed dropping items into hoppers. Someone dropped a Mythic(is it a lament? can't remember) in the seaskipper ship's hopper, he made a post(he didn't requested) and they removed the ticket system(not sure if they are related, but for this one it is really serious).

Btw am I the first one who got spawn-killed?





Edit: I get out there safe with someone's help. And POG I got Laen's Curiosity from a loot chest in Sarnfic and got top quality on first roll(worth 30k+ emeralds)
(and I typed the "not lose soul point on death" poll option wrong, it is intended to be "not lose soul point when dying in spawnpoints")

 

Use /class to go afk safely, we get a thread like this every other week..

Would also like to point out that Efilim is one of the least safest towns because it has barely any guards and there are no walls

 

But it is a town, imagine when you are trading and after it you found yourself surrounded by 50+ monsters and you got killed unlimitedly. And you not just die once, you lost your whole inventory

Also I searched key words. Cannot find any posts about dying in a town.

 

If you're really trapped, I can come to you and give you a tp scroll. You might need to regenerate a soul point though

No I think, I guess its a removed item so it is shown to be unobtainable in wynndata. But there should be no problem using them(I just thought it is rare and don't know it is unobtainable until I checked) as they are not admin or staff item. It is gone anyways :(

 

While I understand that it's hard to have this happen to you for the first time, it should be a lesson to use /class when afk-ing.

PS: there are other towns that are dangerous to afk in as well, such as Lexdale. Honestly, just to be safe, only afk in major towns or just do /class.

I died countless times while afking in the wild but those are my bad. For this one I not just died once but lost nearly all gear, and the most terrifying thing is that as it is a spawnpoint, you don't even need to be afk to get spawn killed. Imagine if a lv30-40 player just want to see what Gavel looks like and died and respawned in Efilim, they may get spawn killed by wild boars even when they are not afk.

 

iirc cerid's ingenuity is a dungeon rain drop and is by no means unobtainable. it probably just hasnt been updated on wynndata

You can’t respawn in a town you haven’t discovered yet

 

It's from a corrupted dungeon and is very rare

Emm, my combat level is just enough for corrupted dungeons but I need to get new boots to play it anyways. and I don't know where to get runes for the keys

 

how would a level 45 item be a corrupted dungeon drop

assuming it is in the game, it would come from ice barrows - that said there’s plenty of better boots for your level so i wouldn’t bother grinding for it if i were you

 

Sorry to hear you lost your items. It really fucking sucks how the admins still haven’t fixed the issue and people defend this clear and objective flaw in the game with “sorry bro no-refund policy lol”. Players that just respawned should not be camped by mobs period the fact that this still happens is terrible game design.

 

That's... not how the game works.
You must be around for mobs to spawn, why would the server waste resources spawning mobs in unloaded chunks? Because of the way it works, the only way for mobs to 'ambush' you is to have someone already there.
And why would you afk in the first place? Just /class and afk that way.

 

That's simply not true. Nobody defends this flaw, especially not with the no-refund policy.
