By any chance have you used the command /reload at any point? And how long ago have you restarted your computer? Also what type of cpu do you have? i5 or above should have no issue from my experience. Even i3 shouldn't be having that bad of a problem.

Also //br smooth and //br blendball should be able to replace the voxel sniper command /b e smooth, although I will say that /b e fill sounds interesting. What does that do?

/b e fill slowly fills in an area with the sorrounding blocks, accept for air obviously. and then the opposite(being /b e melt) does the exact opposite.

and no I didn't even know that /reload was a thing... my cpu is an amd a10-7800 with integrated graphics so it is much worse than any intel chips. basically I get like 45fps avarage on medium settings minecraft, with nothing in the background. However I will be getting a new gpu soon so that shuold take a bit of the load off of the cpu, though I doubt it'll be much.

and honestly I dont usually restart my pc. I usually started working on about 1-3 hours after it gets started up, though I do sometimes keep my pc running for a whole day so.

I see. I think the only thing you really can do is get a better cpu or see if you can get paper and use it's optimisations. Or, you could try using fabric's cardboard mod, which can in theory load spigot plugins and also run fabric mods, which would really help server performance. I haven't gotten that to work though, and cardboard isn't perfect so it's questionable whether or not any of the plugins would even work.

Or, you could possibly go to a creative server that has world edit, and use that instead. They usually have good performance, like the one I am on has done operations involving over a million blocks in a second. This is at the cost of having space and permission limitations though, so it's understandable if you don't want to use that.

yeh I've gone onto other buidling servers(such as builders refuge) but it is in 1.12, and I play on 1.16 so.. and yeh I am planning on getting a new pc soon so :D
also I am currenlty using a paper server so I cant really get much better performance than I am right now.
I plan to switch to a ryzen 5 3600 so it shuold work more than ok once I do, plus im getting a gpu for my pc soon which might take a bit of the load of of my cpu, tho I think ive mentioned that already so

Ok! I guess I should have assumed that you would upgrade cpu too. A ryzen 5 should be plenty for this stuff, I've run 2 instances of minecraft, a server, and a bunch of chrome pages all at once without having an issue on a similar power cpu.
