To everyone who voted for a Journey Beyond last round and the round before, can I ask why you voted for it? I don't think you're rigging the polls or anything, I genuinely want to know why you like the quests since it's one of my personal least favorites. Is there something in it that I'm just not seeing?

 

I agree, I think AJB and AJF are pretty terrible quests compared to what they were rivalled against. I guess people like Dern so much that they'd have anything relating to it over anything else

 

Now that I think about it, the quest does serve as a great introduction to dernic stuff, not to mention the atmosphere is great too. I just feel like it's flaws outweigh its strengths, and it just get worse on subsequent playthroughs (maybe people voting for it have only one level 100+ class?)

 

Nice introduction to the Silent Expanse, I like the atmosphere as well.

 

I think that it was entertaining to do once, and I haven’t levelled up another class to do it again. I think it was nice to have Aledar appear again even though it’s been 99 levels.

 

I voted for AJB both times, mainly because I disliked the quests they were up against. I'm not a huge fan of the feathers fly series, since it just seems to drag on for a huge amount of time, without holding my interest, especially the minigame parts where you have to charge up the invention using the remote. Also, realm of light 5 is my least favorite of the realm of light quests. The quest itself is pretty good, with some interesting parkour puzzles and the pacing is good. My biggest issue with that quest is it left us on a cliff hanger, with seemingly no clues of the actual ending. Considering the quest is basically just a lead-up to nexus of light, I would at least have expected the raid to fill in the holes in the story but it really didn't, so I was more disappointed than anything.

Otherwise in terms of AJB, I find it to be a really nostalgic quest in terms of reflecting on your journey from level 1 to 100. The atmosphere is great as well, and I feel like it does a great job introducing the silent expanse. My only issue with this quest is that the beginning sections drag on too much.
