Any Fellow Former Hive Java Players?

As some of you may know, the Java version of the Hive server shut down recently (April 15th). So, I'd like to know if any other former Hive Java players are here what their favorite game was. As for me, I played a lot of TIMV.

 

I played on Hive a long time ago! I don't remember the name, but it was this one game... Party something? Where you had to stand on colors or get eliminated.

We played it once at game night on the CT, that's the only time I ever used it. Was fun!

 

Ah man, I really loved The Hive, it was the only server I really played on all that much in recent. I especially loved BlockParty. As far as I know it was the only one of its kind, so it's sad to see it no longer available along with the server as a whole. I made sure to end on a good note by somehow managing to beat someone who was supposedly known for being really good at the game, while I was normally just adequate at it and nothing more. Really hoping it becomes available on the Bedrock version ASAP...

 

There's a server that's been made to recreate/recpature some of the hive games, DM me and I'll hit you up with a link to the discord - it has blockparty and deathrun etc.

Also *cough* there is actually blockparty in Wynncraft in the Colossus raid that I made and its super cool 100% confirmed by admins

I got into whatever game DanTDM, my favorite childhood youtuber played ^.^

 

Just noticed, but the two most common games to come up on this thread are Death Run and Block Party, while Skywars hasn't been mentioned once. Guess it makes sense that Wynncraft players who also played the Hive mostly played some of the more unique games there and not the generic pvp games.

 

Gravity was my favourite on hive, one of the few places that had the dropper maps :-:
