What's Your Wynncraft Unpopular Opinion?

I'm gonna say it, wynntils has overstepped some boundaries and is kinda cringe.

 

There should be no gortii server, where gortii cannot join.

My (maybe) cancel-worthy list:

-Gather speed bombs should be removed
-Galleon's Graveyard is (mostly) hot garbage
-Raid reward chests should have a guaranteed tome
-The Lost isn't god-awful as people say it is, although it's still terrible

 

not that unpopular of opinions tbh

galleons is terrible and shoutouts to when i had to do SEVENTY tcc raids in a row to get a single vampiric tome for my warrior

 

- Elements as a concept doesn't really change much outside of haha you need x colour for x mob (Excluding item design and themes)
- HSB/hypixel gets way too much hate from the community
- Fast hybrid in some cases outclasses 'normal' builds
- Mythics should only be the best item for it's element/duo, making them too unique makes it harder for players without mythics to use playstyles
- Community helper was an overall negative/didn't really change that much

 

Inferno is underrated and gets shat on way more than it should. It does still need a buff/rework however

I tried to get 5 ppl to play it, only one stayed (but doesn’t play much anymore)
The other 4 didn’t get past the tutorial.

 

I think there's too much fast travel in the game.

 

Underworld Crypt is annoying and in general isn't fun at all.

 

wynncrafters use too much abbreviations and I have no idea what they are saying


also why the fuck do you need to shorten words like fantasia or divzer it takes 0.4 seconds to type zer or sia

 

Pretty sure this is popular. The dungeon sucks.

 

Unpopular opinion: it's possible to enjoy Wynncraft and not actually play it.

I genuinely think that Cluster is a bit underrated though I should expect to be proven wrong pretty fast and about weapon comparisons I think Cryoseism is better than Panic Zealot due to the existence of Time Rift (If trift didn't exist I would agree that Zealot is better than Cryo)


Also Ava/Lari/Qira are not worth simping your fucking soul over and are overrated as hell

So this is now an unpopular opinion
UC is decent at best. Although the main problem for me is the fact you barely ever have to fight anything, the boat section is cool (although the pikemen get stuck behind barriers for some reason) and the boss gimmick is very fun. Summoning 100000 defenders is just satisfying to watch.

 

Archer isnt overpowered

 

One of my opinions:

Wynncraft is hard if you don't use consumables

The Eye is one thing (you can beat the eye basically purely by chance if you throw yourself at it enough, and it becomes much much easier once you know what you're doing)

But LI is a completely other thing. Virus Doctor, Robob, Cybel, and Dr. Legendary are all tough fights that can hit you hard as hell, and can even "one-shot" (hit you very very hard consecutively where it feels like a one-shot) moderately tanky builds

Raids are also hard, especially if you don't have a team. And even with a team, I've had several raid wipes. Even using a Hero build I get slapped pretty damn hard, and otherwise tanky builds might be glassy for raids.

I think a lot of the people saying Wynn is easy are people who use mythic builds, use hypertank builds that are practically unable to die, or have memorized mechanics and spell combos to such a point that they have gone over the proverbial benchmark of "gitting gud"
(I suppose it could also be people who use def pots and stuff. Maybe I'm biased by the fact that I don't use consumables. But playing wynn without consumables is indeed hard)
