looking back i realize that my post was half unpopular opinions and half nitpicks of the game
so here's an ACTUAL unpopular opinion

I hate the Nesaak portion of the game. The area seems cool, but it's just a pain to navigate and the quests aren't great. The lore is fine, though.

 

no really anything that is reminiscent of eots and not lwt is a huge win in my book. also it had a more spooky area of the map vibe imo; too developed now (dude it even has a ROAD. OUTSIDE THE CITY. WTF)

 

lari isn't as annoying and awful as people claim she is.

 

TCC actually isn't that bad of a Raid, sure it has bugs but they aren't that common for me.

 

Even more unpopular opinions
Unless you are a warrior or assassin, defense kinda sucks because your class defense stats decrease the reduction by a lot.
Fallen Factory is actually somewhat hard because the bots refuse to die.

I don't know why Ava isn't as scrutinized as Lari is. Ava literally became a terrorist at the end of her quest. Lari and Ava are both equally flawed. But Ava doesn't try to kill you lmao. Oh wait, she does! Her big mega plant tries to kill you. Except, unlike Lari, Ava would've killed you accidentally.

Lootrunning was the worst thing to happen to Wynncraft. The endgame is literally getting a lootrunning set, joining the lootrunners discord, and running around the world opening chests. That's not a game. I wouldn't mind if lootrunning died.

Mmmm another unpopular opinion: Aside from a bit of mojang eula/tos discrepancy I think champion benefits are fine as it is. I had an idea to make a post about it sometime but I’ll put it here for now. Champion costs over 100 USD, and it’s basically the ultimate way to show your support for wynncraft. People who bought this rank deserve to get some good stuff out of it. Secondly, the main complaint about champion is that it allows champion to more easily take advantage of bombs thrown by other people, most notably prof xp and speed bombs. Yet everyone who complains about this also completely glosses over the fact that the bomb thrower themself has a guaranteed chance at being in the server where the bomb is thrown. How is this any different from the champion slot and bomb bell? Before you say that it basically pushes out non-champions from participating in the throw: 1. you didn't pay as much money 2. There is nothing preventing the thrower of the bomb from alerting 40 of his friends or his guild beforehand to give them a huge advantage. Both pay money, both get priority. The cost of champion is probably as much as someone would spend on bombs if not more, so in my opinion there is no problem with this.

fr tho the joke is so unfunny, and its almost as bad as the yahya druggie jokes (and that joke has been around for at least 7 years at this point)

my own unpopular opinion is that the wynn texture pack is kinda bleh, and that default textures are much nicer to play with. (not that the wynnpack doesnt have nice textures, kios models are cool, and the new cobblestone texture is divine)

also decay sucks ass, i wish gavel focused on the (canon btw) imperialism of the villagers as the main conflict of the area. wynncraft already has one unstoppable force as a threat, it doesnt need a clone of corruption

 

therck stair's is not only an incredibly unfunny joke but also looks stupid/out of place
sucks cause Enan's brother is one of the oldest quests and it was really good at directing new players to the start of nivla forest, now it only takes you halfway for some reason

 

Here's a quick one I have

The entire light/dark forest region is dull and boring, both in appearance and content.

 

morph set should be removed; it destroys class building creativity at nearly all levels

edit: or at least nerfed to the point where it would be worth putting in the effort and spending the money necessary to find a non-mythic/non-crafted build. at this point, i'm only not using morph-set just so people don't screech when i join their raid parties.

 

Why not make a list of popular “unpopular” opinions that aren’t allowed in the main post?
