I Havent Touched Wynncraft For 3 Years And ...

It has been almost 4 years since I even logged on to wynncraft, I wanna get back into the habit of wynncraft. What happend while I was gone?

 

they're called sand swept tomb, lost sanctuary etc. now instead of "silverfish dungeon", "animal dungeon", etc

 

oh nothing much. just an entire new mini-province called corkus, a new area in the wynn province called the silent expanse, the entire province of gavel was reworked, a ton of old quests are gone/replaced now, etc

 

I mean, it IS the most notable and important change... Otherwise the desert discoveries would have been themed around a sandwich

I hope you enjoy your time spent here, when you go in game you may want to do /toggle to see all of the optional things you can turn on and off. You may also want to download wynntills (which is not officially supported by wynncraft technically) since it offers a lot of useful utilities for a better experience going through the game.

And a new region called the Silent Expanse which basically redid the lore on Dern...
And a rework of Gavel...

The quest “Prison story” was removed. Other than that, nothing too important

 

Something to do with some kind of “ruler” and “mechanisms that tell time” was taken out, but that was pretty much it.

 

Also that didn't happen in the last 4 years.

So in order of events
Corkus is now real and accessible. That mansion in Nemract is completely different inside. It's no longer haunted and is instead built by an architect who I can only assume was on some sort of substance while just throwing random mechanical parts into a house to make a very complicated puzzle. I completed it and I still do not know how to complete it at all.
Item Buyers have been replaced with Blacksmiths. They scrap items and buy them, but you should rather scrap them and sell them on the trade market. That is this thing where you can buy stuff from other players, it's pretty cool. Scrap sells much better than items, you get about 15x the amount of emeralds I'd say, with only a small delay of 15 minutes or longer if you sell a lot. You can craft items from crafting ingredients dropped by enemies or from resource nodes. You can farm, fish, mine, cut down trees for resources that can be refined. You need to buy the appropriate tools though. You also need to level those up. Crafted items are personalized completely, and can be pretty good, although they slowly fall apart. You can repair them at blacksmiths using repair scrap.
There's a place called the Silent Expanse and it is south of Wynn, beyond those corrupted big ol' mines south of the Roots of Corruption. Over by the Corrupted Village. In there is an abandoned city with some amazing architecture, a new town, and a huge dungeon that is as colorful as a crayola box.
Gavel has been reworked and now has dungeons, but specifically for groups, and they are called raids, not dungeons. Lore in Gavel got broken down, I'd say like a quarter, and rebuilt. Eye of the Storm is gone, as well as the giant hand. Dungeon keys now work for small groups instead of individuals, so you can save money going into dungeons as a group.

I have been playing for 7 years and I have never heard of the "etc" Dungeon. wtf

 

I can't really help you dude, I've only been playing starting from 1.20 in January

 

they updated the sherk quest.
they also added a colossal rat.
