Mage Vs Shaman

i am a mage and i am thinking about switching to shaman but because of the nerf i am having second thoughts
and i dont want to always be a support class, i want to fight with the others to
so which class should i choose

 

if you want to fight, just pick anything that isn't mage or shaman i guess

 

well i was a archer but i got frustrated because of sandy scandle lmao
the only thing i want to know if shaman is good even after the nerf

 

the nerf where the totem despawns faster and where the heal thing area is smaller is reversed, they took back the nerf.

so then i would have a full setup done for my shaman profile

If you want more aoe damage/healing per second then I’d go for Shaman but if you wanna spam your heal and damage then mage. I know Shaman can spam but it definitely shines more with its totem especially in the late game. But Mage can do serious damage and the teleport spell is really good and is in a way superior to Shamans totem haul since you only need one spell and it can travel farther and faster.

 

oh thats nice but i think the shaman would work cuz i can heal myself and maybe solo bosses

 

yeah no, Shaman is the best class in the game in my opinion. If you build it right you can deal like 5-10k damage and heal for 1k every second while being insanely tanky. Probably more. And all that at low mana costs and it happens every second for like, 20 seconds.

 

uuuh, tbh mage is really good as a fighting class in the endmage, shaman is a bit weaker but it is insane for crowd control and to counter massive swarms of mob

 

true and the healing from the totem would work out very well for survivability
and why did 3 weeks of archer lvlin up go in 2 days of mage lvlin up...

i dont rly think there is a best class cuz they seem sooo balanced which is good and the best part abt shaman is when you dont want to fight you can just sit on the side and spam the aura as a side character and when you want to go into action you can straight up haul in there

 

Honestly mage is a very cool class and can be also played with a damage build & have heal on top.

If you don't want to play mage anymore I recommend Assassin. Its more damage focussed and has some nice spells.
Archer and Warrior are also possibilities but I can't recommend Shaman tbh..

 

I rly don't think shaman is the best as it is probably the weakest in the high lvl meta, people don't use shaman for either wars or raids (some do but it's really weak unless you have a mythic)

Assassin indeed is really great as it has great mobility and decent damage, you can even go tank with an assassin, you can rly go for any playstyle

 

Mana reset for Mage is pretty insane, especially if you get some good late-game intelligence/agility builds together.

Try out Shaman. But if you want to avoid all forms of healing and do damage alone, try Assassin or Archer.

All classes are viable and good. You should only make the choice depending on what gameplay you personally like best.

 

Well when you spamm a spell the cost goes up right ? Well if you just swap between 2 spells, let's say Teleport and heal as it's the most common imo, well you'll use teleport 2 times, the cost will go up, use heal so the cost is now the base one and teleport again, so basically using less mana that if you were just teleporting

 

Oh, I knew that but didn't see how it's insane on mage. I guess ice snake + meteor is a good combo though.

 

Probably, i don't play mage myself but i guess that leave the time for the meteor to fall

 

I'm a mage and I shred bosses somewhat easily while not getting murdered because of heal
Also CCI makes Shaman the worst so Mage
