Summary A map about travelling through several different landscapes, dungeons, and dimensions in order to stop the Corrupter of Dimensions. She will stop at nothing until everything is under her control, and only you can stop her. Fight your way through the dungeons she has already corrupted in an attempt to stop her from corrupting all 5 Altars.

Info All weapons & armor pieces are placed into chests at random, adding some Rogue-Like elements to the map. Mini Bosses will put up a tough fight, but can reward you with fantastic items and accessories. At the end of each floor awaits an Altar Guardian, corrupted by Meridia, and now attempting to stop you from proceeding. Hidden void realms offer mysterious items that have no known use (or do they?), and they can be found on every second area of each floor.

I saw a trailer for this in the Wynn discord a while ago and it looks really well done. I'm excited to try it out when I have time!

Alright, I played through it last week and it was fairly solid! I did have fun, so here's some sort of review, I suppose! I beat the map in about 6 hours, all alone.
For those who haven't tried it, I'd recommend playing in multiplayer. I played in singleplayer and had extra smaller issues. Make sure to be opped and have commands enabled, there are times where you might need them to get unstuck!

This is a wall of text, sorry!
    Positives:
    + Variety
The variety in the gear was great. I liked having a huge arsenal of very unique weapons with unique effects, particles, custom enchantments, they were the heart of the map. It's clear you tried to make each weapon unique in some way or another, and I can say you succeeded with those. I was never able to get a full armour set during my playthrough though to get the effect, which was a bummer!
The accessories (off-hand items) were also great!

    + Builds and Level Design
The builds were very nice, I think. Some place were more messy (I think the future cathedral or however it was called was really messy), but overall it was very serviceable and did the job well. Good job on that!

Props on that one magma level with the blazes and the orbs to destroy. loved it, unsure why
Abyssal Void as well was outstanding

    + Bosses
There are a lot of bosses, which is great. They all have their own things, and their patterns are easy to read. The game design is pretty nice on that one. There was one miniboss though which kept healing and I couldn't get why :( (the 9th miniboss, I think? the one before last)

    + Music and Ambience
The map has pretty cool music. It's taken from other games in some cases and converted to noteblocks midi, and it works well! Though, some of the music was made of only noteblocks, so I found it funny that you simply put those in the resourcepack instead of using another datapack to play the midi. It would've made the map much, much lighter!

The ambience was also nice, especially the Abyssal Void (last area, I believe?). I found the ambience there to be amazing, it reminded me of some stuff on Wynncraft. I can tell you had some inspiration from Wynn with a few things.

    + Void Areas
I loved those. I don't have much else to say, they were a nice change of pace and had their own challenge. The ambience there was great as well.

    + Ending
The very end with you and a big sword was super satisfying. Good job on that. And the freedom you give the player after completing the map with all the gear and songs is also amazing!

    + Others
The damage indicator datapack was a nice touch. You also don't need Optifine for the custom item textures, I'm glad you used that vanilla feature

    Neutral:
    * Balance
The balance feels fine in mid game and some parts of end game, but very early it's very easy to get shredded to pieces and the gear you find is pretty bad overall. You have to almost cheese your way through and constantly hide or run away. I got lucky to find the Spade of Speed in my very first chest which was super useful throughout my entire playthrough, though!

There's also an issue where potions can become very scarce and you lack regeneration items. This makes the map super difficult at times.

The damage scales and ramps up super quickly as well, your weapons can become useless very quickly. I kinda like that you end up with items that deal like 150 attack damage though!

    Negatives:
    - Bugs and Polish
A smaller issue, of course, but the map felt a bit "unpolished" at times. Using buttons, books, a ton of command blocks is a little old fashioned in the mapmaking world but fine as it sets some sort of "older adventure map" aesthetic, but then you have things like using hoppers for shops which felt very much outdated. This wasn't that much of an issue, though I think it's good to point out. You also use dispensers behind every chest, probably to give the random rare loot? That's an interesting way to do it, but you really could've used loot tables instead of individually filled each chest. Loot tables are very, very customizable!

In fact, here's a link if you need a generator for them.

There is so much gear and content that things were bound to have glitches. I didn't really encounter major ones, but you have some such as dying from a miniboss making its bossbar visible forever until manually typing the command to hide it. One major glitch, though, was when I got this sword with the "Possessed" enchantment I believe. It's supposed to change your yawPitch at random, when in reality it teleports you to the command blocks.

Quick note to fix that: the commands are ran from the command blocks, which is why using "tp ~ ~ ~" would teleport the player to the command blocks. Use "at @s" after the player selector so the /tp runs from their position instead!

    - Massive Resource Pack

    - Inventory Management
This is a big one to me. Inventory was absolute hell to manage with all the gear you get. It's the main reason as to why I'd recommend the map to multiplayer rather than singleplayer. You have 5-6 slots basically locked to the crafting materials, one or two for emeralds, potions, and then most for the gear you find, and you find A LOT. It's probably easier to manage with other people. But it turned out to be slightly annoying by the end of the map. Maybe I'm just a hoarder, though I definitely threw away a lot of gear as well.

    - Few annoying stuff
You clear some items like rotten flesh, but not other drops like string, spider eyes, or anything that's useless. You could also /kill the items for extra efficiency so they don't stay on the ground.
When I got to the future cathedral, I instantly got swarmed with fast enemies with no breathing room. That wasn't very kind of you.
There were times where I had to ever so slightly "cheat", like with the glitch I mentioned earlier. It's a good thing I'm a mapmaker and can know my way around stuff, but it could be very sad for a normal player to be completely stuck at random.

    - Lore and Dialogue
The lore of the map was extremely basic, but it also has some extra fluff to it. The books don't do much, they just give random lore to the world which I wasn't really interested about, especially with how the dialogue was handled. I guess it wasn't your strong suit but it definitely didn't make the map worse or anything, really. It's fine. The dialogue, with the item lores, definitely prevented me from taking anything seriously whilst playing. I think you intended for this, though. It was hilarious at times, so there's that!

    ...Bruh indeed.

Anyway, I could go on and on but all of these things definitely prevented me from caring about what was really going on haha

    - This:

    What
I thought the void shards would give you great bonuses at the end, but apparently if you miss one you have to redownload the map? That is extremely odd. I don't even know what to say about this part, it baffled me so much it was pretty hilarious. Anyway, I think I missed the Permafrost one? I obviously didn't replay through everything, I'm not insane!

    - The Final Boss
It wasn't really bad or anything, but I'm really not a fan that you can't damage Meridia and you just have to die. The last part with the massive sword was great, but I wish you had to damage her enough for her to like, snap and instantly "kill you". I spent a long time fighting her with everything I had, and in the end your gear is completely useless and that is outstandingly unsatisfying to have the final boss not take into consideration your entire journey.

Anyway, that's it. I did enjoy the map, that's for sure. I even became somewhat addicted and just wanted to finish it.
Again, sorry for the huge unfiltered wall of text, I didn't even spend time to fix the typos if there are any, I just spoke my mind.

yeah, cool map, will give it a 6.5/10, it's probably a 7.5 with friends
