A Calculation Of Theorick's Power

You know that scene in Fate of the Fallen where Theorick freezes all of Nesaak? Lets calculate how powerful that was!
From wynndata.tk/map, I was able to determine the iced region to have an area of about 756,000 square meters, around the size of a small town
Storm clouds tend to form at 8,000 meters above ground, so 8,000 x 756,000 = 6,048,000,000 m^3. Clouds during thunder storms tend to be cumulonimbus, which have a density of 3 kg/m^3, netting us 18,144,000,000 kilos.
Now, while we don't know how fast Theorick created the storm, but the situation was clearly urgent, so I'll estimate a timeframe of 30 seconds. 8,000/30=666.667 meters per second. We now need to calculate the energy needed to create and move the clouds.
The energy needed to make the clouds is figured out by multiplying its mass by the heat of vaporization of water; in this case, 2,264,705/kg. 2,264,705x18,144,000,000=4.11x10^16 joules
For the energy to move the clouds, it was 0.5x18,144,000,000x666.6667=6.05x10^12 joules.
In total, Theorick outputted around 41,097,000,000,000,000 joules of energy, or 9.86 megatones of tnt. That is 145,000 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

This is what the blast radius would be if detonated over New York City.

edit: OK, apparently the Wynncraft map is 400 times bigger than shown in game(credit to MatteoGames), so 400 times 9.86 = around 4 GIGATONS OF TNT! That is 80 times more powerful than the Tsar Bomba, which is the most powerful bomb created by humanity.

What if Theorick, instead of bringing clouds down, he simply made everything colder? And spewed snow?
Well, how do you make things colder? That heat has to go somewhere, so...
Well, how cold is Nesaak? They have polar bears, which live in the Arctic Circle. The Arctic Circle is around -50 degrees Celsius, so we will assume Nesaak is as well. We will assume the rest of Wynn is 20 degrees Celsius. You got 756,000 square meters as the area, and if we assume that Theorick's spell affected the air 100 meters above the ground, so 756,000 * 100 = 75,600,000 cubic meters of air.
It takes roughly 0.25 kJ to change one pound of air by 0.5 degree Celsius. There are roughly 0.002 pounds of air per cubic meter.
0.002 * 75600000 = 151200 pounds of air
We are changing the temperature by 70 degrees, to 75,600,000 cubic meters. Multiply 0.25 * 70 * 151200 = 2646000 kJ (2646000000J or 2.646*10^9J) to freeze Nesaak. Of course, this is only if the spell affected 100 meters high. But what if it affected the entire troposphere? The troposphere is 14500 meters high. 14500/100 = 145, so multiply 2646000 kJ by 145 to get 383670000 kJ (383670000000J or 3.8367*10^11J). Lower than your number. But then again, this is just pure heat, no movement or anything.

We see Theorick spew snow. How much snow? Let's assume it is 0.2 meters of snow. Thus we have 0.2 * 756000 = 151200 cubic meters of snow. Settled snow is roughly 200 kg per cubic meter, so 200 * 151200 = 30240000kg of snow. This is 30240000 liters of water. Urine runs at roughly 15mL or 0.015L per second. If the great pee storm took 30 seconds, this is 30240000 / 30 = 1008000L per second. This pee stream is 67200000x greater than the average urination.

Here’s a few pointers:
-Theorick didn’t necessarily create/move clouds. He released a massive wave of magic that spread across the entire Tundra.
-Said wave was strong enough to instantaneously freeze and solidify anything in its path upon contact, and change the climate of the entire Tundra.
-The magic is strong enough to freeze Corruption. For this scenario let’s assume it’s a high energy force with an extremely high temperature, enough to burn plant life upon contact. (Not necessarily canon, just giving you details)
-Theorick’s ice is heavily temperature resistant to the point where being exposed to burning hot lava can’t affect its temperature.

-Also assume that the magic wave retained the same level of energy and potency across the entire tundra. After you leave the tundra, the shockwave decreases in energy.

If he was strong enough to freeze over corruption, why didn't he just go on a rampage across the province freezing every speck of corruption? Why did he instead decide that it was a better idea to risk his life by going to the Nether and destroying it from within? He probably didn't know that the Silent Expanse existed, so there was presumably no way for Bak'al to return and make more corruption (of course, he could have gone through the Dern Portal in the silent expanse to get there, but again, Theorick didn't know that existed. He also didn't know that Gavel existed and stuff.)

 

He was barely able to handle keeping Nesaak safe by just going around and killing things before he went into the portal. And, I'm not sure that he would've been able to freeze the whole province the way he froze Nesaak, especially with areas like the jungle and desert, so I doubt that would work. Even if he could, he would end up killing many thousands of people that way, while if he could destroy the Roots somehow, the province could be saved indefinitely without anyone having to die. Once he did get corrupted, I doubt he had the time or power to freeze anything beyond Nesaak (even the Twain mansion area resisted his ice, despite being so close).

 

You forget that in-canon, the Wynncraft world is supposed to be significantly larger than the one we actually play through. For example, it's obvious that canonically Detlas doesn't only have like 50 houses and 100 people. It most likely has thousands of houses and inhabitants, but due to limitations they can't depict that. This means that the tundra is probably way bigger than you think it is. Nesaak is obviously not as big as a football field, it has to be much bigger. In one of my theories, I was told by a CT that the Ocean is far bigger than in the map (which for example explains why we can't visit the Misadventure on the Sea island in the ingame Ocean). Therefore, Theorick is way, WAY stronger than he seems to be. I'd multiply the size of the tundra by like 400x to get accurate measurements.

Frankly, it probably wouldn't work. There's a difference between freezing specks of Corruption and some roots here and there in the tundra, and freezing the Nether Portal itself. The Portal is extremely powerful, it's what gave the CoW and Bak'al their strength, and the Roots there are probably significantly more "resistant" than other roots around the province because of their proximity to the portal. Also, I'd think that if he did go waltzing around the province freezing the Corruption, Bak'al would intercept him with a huge army and try to kill him.

 

Bak'al needed a peon to stop Theorick, he's too much of a coward anyway. Besides, Theorick would easily have crushed Bak'al's forces with a couple of spells, because that's all it takes for his ice magic to kill corruption. Him going to the Nether was an attempt to speed up the process of what I explained.

 

ok, if the tundra was 400x bigger, therefore multiplying Theorick's power by 400, that would equal 4,000 MEGATONS OF TNT! THAT IS 80 TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN THE TSAR BOMBA, THE MOST POWERFUL NUCLEAR BOMB EVER MADE! According to nukemap, the explosion radius would be 350 KILOMETERS!
