SPOILER Bob Lost Soul Revamp Where?

I finished bobs lost soul and reincarnation today
this dagger above was never used in neither of those quests
But everyone including some content team members imply that this was used in the "new" Bob's lost soul quest
the so-called rework to Bob's lost soul was removing the tomb puzzle, changing rose into a hostile mob and nothing else
So, what is the purpose of this dagger?

 

Used in a puzzle to get the Depressing Dagger.

 

They also added puzzles in the Nesaak region to get all of the depressing weapons (the Effervescent Dagger is part of the puzzle for the depressing shears), changed a bunch of the dialogue, made some quest book stages easier to follow, and made Bob the Zombie spawn more often, maybe a few other, smaller things that I missed.

use it to get depressing dagger although i still prefer grinding in the wolf cave

 

it literally takes 5 seconds to get the dagger with this new way what

wolf cave might as well be removed entirely because it completely defeats the point of doing the puzzles

by removed entirely i mean depressing weapons removed from all drop tables

 

you get xp
i mean its not the best way but a lot of wolves spawn in wolf cave so its one of my favorite lvl 40ish places to grind because i dont get bored

 

u don't get xp from the wolves at the end tho...
