Should I Be Leveling Up My Crafting And Other Skills?

I'm currently around level 45 combat and my all of my other skills like crafting, mining, farming, etc are all at like level 0-15.
Should I start grinding and leveling them up more, or am I able to just go all the way to endgame without ever really having to care about those skills?

 

Professions are only required in the game as low level gatherings for a few quests, other than that, they are not essential to beat the game.
Although they can be very powerful, especially at endgame, they also take a really long time to get to higher levels, so it is not advised to do them on a first playthrough.

 

Professions are the very last thing you should ever do in this game. They're a complete waste of time and get you almost nothing in the long run.

To add onto what other people have said, except for handful of quests that require them (most of which I'd just skip frankly), there's no reason you'd have to level them up unless you enjoy it. I'd recommend not doing them at all on your first playthrough, and then maybe doing them once you've had a bit more experience if you like them. They offer a good way to make money in the lategame if you're willing to grind, but beyond that, there's no real reason to do them and they're a lot of grinding.
