Broken Quest Item

So ive had multiple quest items break on me when i put them in my enderchestbank. or in my inventory and then change lobbies or something, and then it's unusable. Now im doing the lazarus pit quest, and the talisman broke on me, and i dont know where it is. But i cant use it anymore.
When the quest items break they turn into a red cross.
What am i supposed to do now? I cant finish the quest now. pls help

Ive also got some quests that have been reset? I did An iron heart I and II aa while ago, and now they're back in my quest book. Why have they been reset? im so confused please help

 

If this is your first time logging on in more than a month, the 1.20 update launched a few weeks ago and a few quests have been remade and reset in your questbook.

I don't completely understand what's wrong, did you lose the talisman or did it turn into a red cross?
If you've lost a quest item and it's not in your bank or in the inventory of another class, /fixquests should give it back.
