Any Class Build Requests: Heavy Spell Builds And Meta Fast Melee Builds

Hey, just realized, I have no earthly idea how to build heavy spell, if anyone wants to leave decent heavy spell builds here, that'd be cool (I'm thinking like fast hybrid heavy spell, but I suppose heavy hybrid also works), and also, I'd like good fast melee builds for every class

 

Heavy spell doesn't exist yet, that's why touhoku is the heavy spell theorist.

I'll give a bit more of my thoughts on that:

Heavy Spell is kinda just a meme rn, because there are no "true" heavy spell items in game. Ambivalence does not give nearly enough damage to be useful in any situation except canceling the spell costs (like rainbow Olily), and Hadal is arguably heavy spell but really its just bad.

There are kinda 2 approaches to heavy spell:
- Maxing out spell costs (my approach):
This concept would rely on a few things: spell cost being capped and 19, and spell cost calculation being changed to calculate raw after %. These builds would like be mana regen focused, with fast attack speeds for knockback purposes, casting a spell every 2 or 4 seconds, depending on mana and spell costs. These spells would do a real ton of damage in order to be on par with non-heavy spell (think like, 80k+ unboosted uppercuts with thrunda)

- Mid-tier spell costs (introduced to me by Bart_MC)
Remember when you were low level and every spell cost 4-6 mana to cast? That's the idea behind this. IMO, I'd label this as burst spell, and above as heavy spell. This approach also relies on raw after % calcs (please Salted :pray:). You would get significantly higher damage than normal, but less than above (perhaps ~30-35k unboosted uppers with thrunda). This playstyle would allow for short bursts of damage before having to wait for mana, which is why I would rather call it burst spell.

 

I mean you can barely get heavy spell with ambivalence but rainbow olily is even better lmao

I solo'd LI and qira with this. Wishing star is an objectively better option but this also exists if you want use it for some reason.
