Guide How To Make Your Real Skin Show Up In Thread Previews On Forums!

Hey there! Do you enjoy using the default forums profile picture? Great! Allow me to show you this cool trick that removes the weird steve in a cat suit skin that shows up as your profile picture in thread previews.

If you have no clue what I'm talking about, check this out:


As you can see, instead of these three (well, actually only 2) fine gentlemen's real skins showing, you have some furry shit showing up instead. Let's fix that!

Alright so step 1 is to go to your profile. This can be done by hovering over your name on the top right and clicking "your profile". I'm sure you all know how to do this.

Step 2 is simple: simply right click your profile picture, click "save image" and save it as any title you want.

Now go back to your name on the top right, but this time click "personal details". One of the first options there should allow you to upload a custom profile picture. Upload the image you just saved, apply it, and you're done! Now instead of that weird furry shit that shows up in thread previews, everyone can actually see your skin! Tada!

Actually I can't, I tried to make one with a different website but it also has the white block lmao

I think it might have to do with the fact that it's a steve head, try changing the color of like 1 pixel to a color that looks pretty much the same

Does your skin have a white overlay on your head? If so, that's why.

edit: tested this theory and can confirm that that is the problem so i made a fixed version of your skin. hope this helps.

To put this on, just save the image as by right clicking it and then apply it via the minecraft launcher

Fun fact: Somebody hacked the herobrine account last year and messed with the skin. The current skin is the furry pfp thing but with Herobrine eyes.
