You can use either, it's just the 182 int req with hyrdofluoric acid is a bit tough on class building so depths gem works too.
I'll also ammend that Gravitational crystal works for more +spell% and primordial soul works well for lower int builds as it takes away int req. :D

That certainly isn't better than Cata (dmg wise, and cata is used for dmg)

But the spring and hadal recipes look pretty good :eyes:

 

After damage testing today with it (I don't have an assassin levelled to 105 so I had to find some test dummies) The crafted cata definately can't output the same dps but it is so much more consistent.

And with this build I just made you can use Cataclysm or my crafted version to really have some fun as assassin.

Quick question that came into my mind after seeing this, would it be possible for some of the crafted mythics to be twice as good but have 1 durability so that you don't have to worry about repairing them?

Doesn't the damage and other ids (except for sp bonuses) get considerably reduced at 0 durability? That's my experience at least

 

id's turn to 10% after 0 dura

 

Ah, I didn't know that. I thought at 0 dura, the item effectiveness becomes 50%. Didn't know that that only happens to sp

 

The recipe heavily depends on the amount of Int you have in your build

also some of these arent actually as great as the original mythics because of base dps and mythic/crafted baselines
ie: cata [t6t6t6]'s base is 499.5 and its base dps is 2147.85, crafted cata [t6t6t6]'s base is 497.5 and its base dps is 1243.75
thus, og cata's base dps is 72.691% higher than crafted cata's (and crafted cata's base dps is even worse if you get slow or normal attack speed on the dagger)

crafted [t3 mats] baseline is 175% that of a normal, and mythic baseline is 212.5% that of a normal
mythics can definitely go above 212.5%, but crafteds will always be 175%
the legendary baseline is 162.5%, though again they can vary and go higher than 162.% and even 175%
