So I have decided to compile my top 10 favorite quests! Now you may be asking yourself "why should I care about your favorite quests!?" My answer to that is... Idk! why did you even click on this if you are asking that? Besides as we all know opinions are evil and no one should have them, well that's my opinion at least. So anyway here are my top 10 favorite quests!

Ok well actually here are my honorable mentions and get ready because there are a lot!

Honorable Mentions: Lord of the Clock-I loved this quest so much while it was in the game I was very sad when I found out it was removed.
Kings Recruit-First quest even tho its kinda sucked at times it deserves to be mentioned.
Mushroom man-Its Yahya's introduction what do you want me to say?
Tower of Ascension/The Qira Hive-I personally always liked these quests, the hive more of the two but they're just not interesting enough to make the list.
Grand Youth/Lazarus Pit-I love the lore in both these quests super cool and as you'll see I'm a sucker for lore.
Forbidden Prison-Fun quest but just never really did that much for me.
The Hero of Gavel-Great addition I love the lore about Siegfried.
All dungeon quests(mostly)-I love all of the dungeon quests just because of all the lore they give but none(Ehhh) of them made the cut.
Enzans Brother-The amount of times I did this quest to get a Therck set was insane so its kinda imprinted in my head, also its pretty funny in 1.20.
Point of No Return-Love the lore and style of this quest so much but it barley didn't make it on to the list.
Recovering the past-Ok so first lore obviously, Second I made an entire DnD Campaign based on the tower in this quest. This was the closest to making it on.

Now finally my actual list! (I told you guys we are in for the long hall get ready)

10: Flight in Distress. This quest barley makes it on despite it being my favorite quest for a while. I love this style of quest I'm not super sure why but its great. Also the Star Wars references are amazing not to mention the connection to a later quest Royal Trials. The main reason its not higher is because of its lack of lore... I love lore.

9: The Order of the Grook. One of the newer quests(Honestly not sure how new it actually is but it still feels new so hmph) its a natural favorite of mine. As I've mentioned, I'm huge into lore and this quests has a bunch thanks to the classes. Also I love the Harry Potter references, the changing rewards depending on what you pick, the overall idea of the quest aka a magic school, and the rewards, the fast travel and items, aren't too shabby.

8: Deja vu. Ok idk why but the Olm are one of my favorite groups in Wynncraft lore and this kinda gives lore about them and I honestly enjoy the quest its self, tho I doubt many people would support me there. 7: Beyond the Grave. This quest is a bit weird because I actually don't like doing this quest, specifically navigating Deaths realm, but its so awesome that we actually have lore as to why when we die we come back very few games I've played have ever done this. Death is also just funny and I like his character.

6: Temple of the Legends/Reincarnation. I know I know just hear me out. Unlike what I feel like is most of the player base I really liked these quests (there is a reason they are grouped together). First reason I like these quests are the bosses, I still remember when CoW, Bob, Death and Qira were the hardest bosses in the game, people would always compare them and it felt like such an achievement to finally beat both of these quests. Now the reason its important to beat both of these quests, and why I grouped them together is because the main reward you get from Bobs quests can only be used in the ToL. That reward is also why I like these so much because Bobs weapons are awesome, I do think they should be actual mythics though. Last thing is that Bob is my favorite character from lore and both of these are important to Bobs lore.

5: WynnExcavation Site D. Honestly you could put all of the quests in this storyline here if you wanted but I specifically wanted to talk about D because I like it the best. So I remember a time when Gavel was being hyped and they released these quests but I didn't play much back then, so when I really started to get into the game right after Gavel came out these were some of the first quests I did and they were so much fun! Obviously my favorite thing about the quests is the lore but specifically for Site D the quest is so much fun. You literally become an outlaw in the province you've basically saved multiple times all due to some shadowy organization then when you finally find a group you think is on your side their leader is actually the final boss, a boss which is very difficult but tbh I don't remember him being as hard as CoW or Bob. The reward is also very cool if only good for a little while.

4: One Thousand Meters Under. Like I mentioned for Flight in Distress I love this style of quest and I'm still not sure why. Anyway though this is literally just the better version of Flight in Distress because its still this style of quest but with more lore! Also more Star Wars references plus I enjoyed the 20000 Meters Under the Sea book there's really nothing not to love.

3: A Hunters calling. All of these top 3 could have been number 1 but I thought long and hard and decided this was my number 3. So AHC was the most confusing quests I've ever done. I still don't honestly know if the visions you see are an alternate timeline where you're the bad guy or like the future where the bad guys win? Yea I got no idea, if we did know for sure what the ghost is trying to show us this might be #1 because the lore would make a bit more sense to me. Regardless, its an amazing quest. The very challenging boss fights, the super interesting, if a bit confusing, lore and a great reward in the armor you can buy with the token (Don't really have an opinion on hunted mode).

2: The Feathers Fly Part II. This was so close to being #1 and I honestly still am not sure if I made the right decision. Regardless of your opinion on Ava and her simps you cannot deny these quests are masterpieces. Ok well you could deny it and I'd be ok with that but I think they are... Anyway my personal favorite part of this quest is Maxie. Maxie was my favorite character on the whole island of Corkus and I was happy to see him in AHC even if under bad circumstances 0_0. But in this quest we get to see him under much better circumstances! We get to see that his dream of a united Corkus could very well be possible thanks to Ava. Also lets talk about Ava, she is definitively the best written and most lovable character in Wynncraft so thats a plus. Also the mechanics of the quest are super fun and new. The boss fight at the end isn't all that impressive but still fun. The rewards are pretty good as well thanks to the Amplifiers.

And finally #1 A Journey Beyond/Further. I feel like this is going to be pretty obvious. These two quests are just immaculate. I love returning characters in stories and now in 1.20 all of the characters in A Journey Beyond are returning! Now while this may sound morbid I also think a great story telling device is killing off characters and I highly approved of the use of this in both quests. This also might seem strange but I thought how the first two died was really cool because it showed that not all hero's die a noble death, some die while chasing their liver. But I also really like Aledar's sacrifice at the end, its also cool that he reveals that they planned to sacrifice you which I always found funny. Of course I can't go more than a few sentences without mentioning lore which these quests introduce a whole new region, so hella new lore. Thats the main thing that got it past The Feathers Fly but also I think the reward is better. lastly I didn't split them up because if I did they would just be 1 and two probably but that's boring

Ok so thats my list, wait why are you still here?? Somethings wrong with you if you read all of that but thanks if you did! If you're reading this because you skipped to the end, well at least your're smart. Anyway I should mention while technically A Journey Further is a dungeon quest its so much more than just that, same with the Envoy questline, even tho that didn't make the list. I think I might make a storyline list next because I had a super fun time writing this even if no one is going to have a fun time reading it.

I want to know what you guys think of my opinions and what some of your favorite quests are!

    Favorite, order

    1. beyond the grave - just my favorite, idk who wrote death but they need a promotion

    2. forbidden prison - is this a hot take? I loved it

    3. order of the grook - honestly I just loved it, not much else to say

    4. hunters calling - haven't actually finished it yet, stuck on the last boss fight but despite the bugs I've run into on the way, its still extraordinarily well written and generally enjoyable

    5. feathers fly 1/2 - Ava is based

    6. ??? - getting a group of people together is like herding cats but it's fun to do

    7. hive - nothing in wynn up to that point had felt better than soloing qira for the first time

    8. flight in distress - overall fun quest

    9. from the bottom - I thought it was pretty fun

    10. enter the dojo - I feel like this is a pretty hot take but I actually really enjoyed it

bonus: an iron heart part 1 and 2 - I thought the choice you had to make was really interesting and I hope we see more ethical dilemmas in the future

    Least favorite, no order

    1. realm of the light 1-5 - gorgeous quest, amazing cinematics but absolute residentsleeper at times and generally frustrating to do

    2. recipe for disaster - felt like a glorified fetch quest in the sky islands of all places

    3. ultimate weapon

    4. point of no return - idk if I was just tilted at the time but I thought this was a really frustrating quest to do

    5. bobs lost soul - fetch quest

    6. canyon guides - seluc can guide his own bitch ass next time

    7. green gloop - soft sand is not fun

    8. the lost - I hate anything that forces you to navigate the canyon

    9. desperate metal - I just found it plain unfun

    10. aldorei 1-2 - aldorei terrain and area is the only place in the game that is more frustrating to navigate than canyon of the lost, and that's saying something considering the sky islands exist. i havent enjoyed any quest that takes place in the area for this reason alone

    all opinion
