Any spoilers for Idol?

 

Hey, I was just thinking, you should totally make Monster a kind of claw, so when you're holding it in first person you look like the monster.
Also, if it's possible, give the item in you're hand a different texture to when it's in your inventory, IDK if that's possible, but if it is it would really bring out the most of the lore for it.

This is currently not possible with Optifine, seems like a cool idea though. I am experimenting with some new mods that might make this possible in the future. I’ll see if I can let the dev know about it!

I’m planning on adding support for a mod that is being worked on at the moment for 1.16 so Optifine will no longer be a hard dependency. It will also allow this resource pack to be run with Sodium using Fabric. I’ll talk about it later on but it might be merged with Myths & Legends if I have enough time to port everything over.

This is not to cause confusion that I’m dropping Optifine support entirely, it will still be used for legacy versions but for 1.16 and beyond there will be some pretty neat things that I’ll have access to.

 

New Lament, I went for something ocean inspired with a large seashell and a pearl on top all wrapped up with a bowtie. Recently I've been doing a lot of ornaments on skins that are completely 2D layers, I feel like it adds a lot of detail to skins without exponentially increasing the cube count. This one ended up being only 11 cubes!

Last one for today, I was thinking Infused Hive Spear? I'd like to get some thoughts about it.

 

Damn it must be a lot of work to make all these 3d models, plus they fit into the style of Wynncraft really well! Very nice work

 

Could you do Orange Lily? Honestly a little surprised that didn't come up earlier, but it would be so sweet having a custom texture for such a popular non-mythic weapon. Probably my biggest want from this right now, but some other cool weapons I'd like to see textured are Cascade, Hellstrand, Plague Staff, and the Orange Wybel weapons. Meme suggestion: Dodegar's Ultimate Weapon

 

100% not hive spear, but Quinque would work... but honestly, if you were willing to do rares, I think the best possible fit Harbinger of Fate.
Frankly, I only think that because it's a golden axe, so a slower thunder weapon of some kind would probably work the best.
The Hive spear doesn't work, because it 100% a spear, no ifs and or buts, so.

I do have a skin for Olily in concept phase right now, I can't guarantee it will be included in the next update but it's being worked on! Also some of the weapons you mentioned are work in progress at the moment.

I do want to remake it (or just completely change it) eventually. Back when it was made it was probably my favorite model but now not so much because my style has changed significantly.
