SPOILER Theory Regarding Orphion (major Spoilers?)

He is the literral embodient of Light, how could he struggle? Imo no, if he didn't battle he chose it deliberately

• Guardian of the Forest: The Light is infected- That abominable parasite has breached the Realm of Light, and sought Orphion to leech away his light.
• Guardian of the Forest: And so, as the sun is forced to set, the land of Gavel grows dark. As the dark parasites spread and devour the minds of those here, so too is Orphion subject to this torture.
• Guardian of the Forest: The balance shifts, and Orphion grows weary. Angered, desperate. He called to you as a last plea- and you have done admirably, for what he has asked of you.
• Guardian of the Forest: Now, you must enter the Realm of Light, and aid Lari in purging the parasite, before its work is finished and Orphion's mind is consumed.

That sounds like Orphion is struggling quite a bit.

Yes, but he still could've fight. Especially in the beggining

But my point was that he was struggling/fighting/clashing with the parasite, but he still isn't corrupted.

And my point is that he perhaps didn't fight. He just let it be. If he would want to fight he could (at least for some time).
If he didn't fight there is no Corruption

As previously stated above, Orphion might/probably have fought, but corruption was not created.

And as previously said above, he might've decided not to, explaining this.

 

I actually agree with this, I think when we were told to 'stop' her, it didn't neceserily imply that we had to defeat her in a conflict. And even if we did, we already fought with Lari in the quest Finding the Light III (unless I am mistaken). I think we have to change Lari's course of action so her actions do not impede/prevent the Light from healing/coming back.

Aside from her, I do believe the Queen of Fruma is another likely candidate.
