Why Is Mage So Bad

mage is usually my favorite class on mmorpg's
but on wynncraft is very weak,
im level 40 and it feels like its to late to start another class,
does mage get better? or it stays bad
and if i should start a new class what class i should pick

 

mage gets better
mage is based around using spells, so if your using your main attack your doing it wrong.
you probably havent even used the 3rd spell yet

 

on what level it gets better?

mana regenerates to slow to use only use spells

 

Get mana regen and mana steal gear to fix that
Also invest on intelligence, it reduces mana cost

Pretty much the moment you unlock meteor II

Well there’s your problem; mana regen is basically a necessity for mage

is there a way to make your armor have mana regen?
or you just need to hope you get one with it

 

You're exactly right, mana regen and mana steal are ID's which can be found on armor, weapons and accessories. It isn't really a luck thing, some items have the ID and others don't, if you know what you want you shouldn't have an issue buying it on the trade market.

If you want help you're going to need to say what items you're using so we can figure out what you're doing right and what you might want to improve, there are a lot of really great people in this community who I'm sure would love to help you figure out what items you need to get stronger.

Melee mage is totally a thing this is just wrong lol

 

Btw, if you still struggle with mage I heavily recommend you get a build from the internet.
Or just use the wynndata builder feature and make yourself a build, but that's harder

 

When you get to a slightly higher level you should try and get the chestplate Blasphemy from Ice Barrows, it's a really good help for mana with 6 mana steal

 

The helmet Avalanche from Fate of the Fallen (which unlocks Ice Barrows, one of the better dungeons) is pretty good, giving anywhere from 1 mana per four seconds to 3 mana per four seconds, pretty good for level 40-50.

 

Don't give up! Mage will get better as you level up. I suggest focusing on using a Water/Air build with decent Spell Damage and Mana Regen. In my experience, that playstyle is a lot of fun to play!

 

mage has the least damage out of all 5 classes, though its not really that bad.

 

Mage is imo the most OP class because of heal spell
