im curious what you guys think , answer the poll or comment , both work fine

 

At the end of RoL 5, Lari starts panicking and then gets her communication cut off by something. So yeah dead :)

 

I dont think that they made 5 quests about character development just to kill her off screen
I think that she will return in Dern update but she will be controlled by darkness and we will need to save her (or maybe it could be a choice, save her or let her suffer)

 

You know the spoiler tag really doesn't do much if you put a half spoiler in the title

She must be alive, like 5 quests of character development, beating the living crap out of bak'al and turning into a nicer person to just die off like that? yeah nah that would be the pathetic route to take, and aside she would have won against bak'al if he didnt run, and since canonically you do the raid and save orphion, lari uses orphions light so she will only get stronger, so yeap she aint dying, also change the title to not blatantly spoil lari's fate

Even besides this, I'd be very surprised if they killed off either Bak'al or Lari offscreen and just said "yeah they died back in RoL V" when we get to Dern. To be honest, I somewhat doubt she'll actually be evil or anything, and not just weakened by her presence there.

I think he made a good point here.

Seeing how Dullahan's being converted instead of dying, and how Lari tried to kill us once, I suspect we'll just fight her again and somehow convert her back to light from darkness.

(But I hope her attitude can change just a little bit after that)

 

My new opinion: Lari will be prisoner in Dernic Beast’s palace, we will need to save her and later she will sacrifice herseft to fullfil her job as Chosen One

 

I think while she will ofc die, she will do it willingly, to corrupt the dern beast, basically do the same to the beast that it did to orphion, she will be the parasite that allows us to bring balance

Plottwist: Lari goes full Talion mode and destroys Dern from the inside before we even get there, so the only thing we will see is ruins XD

 

We get a choice to marry lari later and fight bakal and dern beast together

 

I think Lari would have been taken prisoner by Bak'al, probably being tortured or something, but she stays sane through sheer will and the light of Orphion, and we have to rescue her. I think Bob will play a major role in the Dern storyline, since he sealed away the Dern Beast, and I think Lari will play a part in helping bring him back, perhaps sacrificing herself in the process. Another theory I have is that she will help weaken the Dern Beast by infecting it with light, similar to the way Orphion was infected with dark. Either way I think she's still alive for now, but I think it's inevitable that she's going to die later on.

I think a cool way she could go out is if she acts as a vessel for Orphion's soul temporarily to battle the Dern Beast, but the sheer force of Orphion's full power eventually overwhelms and kills her (but she was aware of that beforehand).

Why would you want to marry Lari when Ava exists?

 

I think when Dern raids gets added we'll fight Corrupted Lari at some point

Also I worried about Lari not being unable to protect the forest, but Orphion says we actually got rid of the parasite after the raid, it wouldn't be too bad.
