If You Could Give A Custom Major Id To Any Weapon/s What Would You Give?

    Hey this is an idea I thought of when I was bored so here you go.

    Major ID's are pretty cool and can fundamentally change the playstyle of a character just by existing. I want to see more major ID's and major ID's on more items, so here's a fun idea. If you could create a major ID for a weapon, what would you give? For example, if I wanted Freedom's playstyle to change, I'd give it a major ID that would allow it to fly. Anyway, here's mine.

    Grimtrap - Tormentor
    Enemies trapped within smoke bombs will be given a curse-like effect.

    Lunar Spine - Fallen Moon
    Enemies who have been damaged by meteor has a 50% chance of activating mana steal.

    Divzer - Lightspeed
    Arrows/Spells cast by Divzer no longer have travel time and travel in a straight line.

    Singularity - Schwartzchild Radius
    Summons an anchor point at the destination of the meteor, at which nearby mobs get sucked in. Meteor then directly falls on the mobs within the blackhole. Event Horizon could get this too.

    Gaia - Earth Blessing
    Ice Snake gives a healing effect to allies

    Panic Zealot - Speculation (It's getting a major id)
    Totem moves around like the panic zealot boss, attacking enemies

    Stratiformis - Of The Wind
    Escape allows the player to fly like the wind. Would give Strati a unique gimmick as it could shoot down arrows from the sky.

    Fatal - Smite
    Reduces the meteor range to 1 block, but meteor becomes instant.

    Cataclysm - Dimensional Rift
    Spin attack summons a tear in dimensions from which random spells are cast. Only one rift is active at a time.

    Cluster - Clusterbombs
    Richochet bombs split into 3 upon landing.

    Alkatraz - Soulbound Throw
    The action of triggering a major ID chucks Alkatraz in the direction that the player is looking, dealing 300% damage to the target. Alkatraz returns at the same velocity once the damage is applied.

    I'm curious to see your guys' ideas. Have fun coming up with stuff, I know I did.

    Archangel: Shielding Smoke: You and allies inside of smoke bomb take 25% less damage. Smoke bomb deals 15% less damage.

    I posted this as a suggestion a while ago, I really want an assassin specific protection major ID.

    come to think of it, the lifesteal proc woul be silly, so maybe just mana steal

    anyways,

    Cluster:
    + Cluster: Add 5%(+-2) Damage to Mob for every cluster you have in your Inventory.

    Nullification:
    + Expulsion: Take 20%(+-10) less damage upon a successful proc of Reflection/Thorn.

    Collapse:
    + Cosmic Pierce: Mob elemental defense have no effect.

    Singularity:
    + Cosmic Manipulation: Meteor becomes a 6 radius wide DoT, dealing 80% damage every 0.2s for 2 seconds.

    Grimtrap:
    + Tormentor: For every 10 hits dealt within 3(-1) seconds of the first hit, increases Damage to Mob by 80% for the next 1 second.

    wow these are all legitimately good, maybe nerf a few of em just a bit in general, but wow it would be cool if these were added

    uHH like creative fly? that would be WAY too op. maybe it giving the ability to cast escape midair might work a bit better
    how would this work? having 2 major ids would be the only way to make this work?

    Warp: Ethereal: teleport does 500% more damage and has a chance to proc ls/ms

    on mobile rn so can’t do any better

    Roots of the Realms: Meteor is changed to summon roots which lock the enemies in place, and deal 3 even ticks of damage before withering.

    The particle effects would clearly have to change, but other than that, it's just adding a freeze thingy and changing damage numbers.

    Thrundacrack: Instead of using an uppercut, you will summon a thunderbolt that will target enemies much like meteor, dealing 400% damage instantly.

    Honestly, I wouldn't mind if some kinda cosmic horror weapons and items gave madness, or some other insanity based major id.
    Like, give something like that to all of the EO rewards, Ornate Shadow, and also the Panic loot I guess.
    It fits thematically, and it's a way to reinforce some kind of player sanity without actually adding a sanity mechanic.

    That's one of the reasons I love pandi, it kind of infers that the events of ??? drove the player somewhat nuts, or at least had the ability to do so, hints it's major id.
    Also, I know a lot of these items already imply some form of fuckery, like Ornate Shadow, give you - soul point regen to imply you possibly losing yourself or the names of EO rewards implying some sort of either mutation or mental disorder.

    Here's an example I love:
    Anxiolytic: Health Potions Heal for 5% more.
    I made that up on the spot, it's not balanced lol, just an example.
    It of course implies drug addiction, which hints the item it's on, Anxiolytic, which is a drug used to reduce anxiety.

    Az: +12% thunder damage for every successive hit, caps at 200% and resets after 2 seconds (it would make it better than cluster) (also arrow storms don't count ofc)
    Collapse: Enemies hit by 2nd bash have -50% ws effect for 3 sec
    Lament: Meteor has 30% chance to trigger mana steal
    Alkatraz: Soul locking: gain +2% defence for every mobs killed, caps at 20%, resets after 10 sec without a kill
    Olympic: +25% jh effectiveness
    Apocalypse: Explosive impact
    Archangel: Saviour Sacrifice
