The Physics Of Warp Is... Warped: Wynncraft Science

Ah, first LE that could explode with the force of a thermonuclear weapon, next to weapons and armor made out of white dwarf or neutronium, to a black hole staff... What's next you might say if you have the attention span of a preschooler eating broccoli for dinner, a community favorite for speed runners and walk speed junkies alike, Warp! Feel free to correct me of any mistakes if you guys notice any.

Warp, if you wackos are either the preschooler from above or don't have your mouth salivating over it every second, is a staff that makes you go at freaking warp speed, you see, it's speed but with Warp! Here I will first entail a player slamming into a wall at 400% walkspeed and then do the physics of teleporting. Yes I know Warp doesn't have 400% walkspeed but who doesn't wan't to see GIANT NUMBERS! I will have to explain a little bit of physics to help with comprehend the numbers better.

There are probably two/three things that seem the same with them being Force, Kinetic, and Potential Energy as they are similar but not the same. Kinetic Energy, put simply, is the energy you'd feel if you walked yourself into a wall, just like the poor player above us or the energy of an object at constant velocity. Potential Energy, or Gravitational Potential Energy, is the energy an object has at rest on an object with a noticeable gravitational pull, more or less the energy an object has sitting there waiting to be released when disturbed. Unlike Kinetic Energy which is measured in joules and is released by velocity, Force is measured in newtons and is released by acceleration, which is why an object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by an outside force, giving it velocity in the process. Hopefully this should help you understand what the numbers are.

Alright, before any players get killed today, some ground rules need to be applied. First and foremost, the equation being used is a fairly easy one to understand and use, that being the equation for kinetic energy, KE=(1/2)m*v^2, which gives us the variables to look for, velocity and mass. Now since I am a little lazy right now, I just used the Minecraft Wiki to get the numbers for the mass of a player and both a sprint and jumping spring velocity. The mass of a player if it were in our world somehow would come out to be 342 kg/754 lb, that's pretty heavy for a human but that will entail big numbers! The velocity of the player sprinting is 5.612 m/s or 18.412 ft/s and a player jump sprinting is 7.143 m/s or 23.435 ft/s. Now with the values in place, time for the math which I won't spell out here, comes out with the normal sprint bashing into a wall has a KE of 86196 J and the jumping sprint has a much higher number of 136597 J. Now to just clarify how deadly that would be, let's drop a 10 kg/22 lb bowling ball from a height of 4 m/13.1 ft. Before it drops, that bowling ball has a potential energy of 392 J which is enough to crack bone. The numbers here are at least 220 times meaning that our dear player traveling at 400% walkspeed is going to be a good piece of modern art now!

Now for the more terrifying numbers, that being teleport. Warp is great for teleporting with its -100+/- 30 to teleport cost, meaning what would happen if you just happened to teleport once? First like last time, an equation needs to be used to find our desired number and for that it will use a very famous equation for Energy-Mass Equivalence, E=m*c^2. If the same mass is used of 342 kg/754 lb and the speed of light of 3*10^8 m/s, the math can now be applied. The answer, 3.078*10^19 J of energy or over 30 exajoules. Dear friend and those who use Warp, why the heck are you using it, the entire map of Wynn should be nothing more than a crater from 1 teleport! The energy released from it is more than 146 times more powerful than the Tsar Bomb, the most powerful thermonuclear weapon exploded. If Bak'al and the Dernic Beast wanted to see Wynn decimated in an instant, all they need to do is teleport with a random staff in the middle of the ocean ONCE!

I might have done the physics of Cataclysm but I don't quite have the understanding of wormhole physics but if pressured to do so I could learn the physics of wormholes. Feel free to leave suggestions for other things for me to do the physics of Wynn on as I might turn this into a monthly thing!

Why are there more physicists on the Wynncraft Forums than on Wikipedia

 

If you're lootrunning, you're gonna have inventory full of emeralds, which is 35 slots.
Emeralds have density around 2700kg/m^3, and one stack of emerald makes one block, adding 94500kg in total.

Also when you reappear from teleport you have to soak up that energy again, making you destroy the universe, twice.

 

So that means Wynn is just a dream, because it had already been blown up
