Tips For Warden Of Wisdom? (rol Iii)

    I'm trying to kill the Warden of Wisdom in the third ROL quest, and I am getting utterly destroyed. I can easily kill him once, but for some reason he'll just respawn and summon millions of mirages to do half my health every 5 seconds. I am a level 64 mage, with a Sage and 4k health. Any advice on how to kill him?

    Ohonte Kerhite (obtained from the tribal sanctuary boss altar) is a very good weapon for up to level 70, and it's basically a baby king of hearts. It gives you quite a bit of health and water damage, which means your heal spell will heal more (since heals are affected by water damage and hp). Its damage might be a bit worse than sage, in that case you might want to keep sage as your main weapon and use Ohonte when you need to heal up. (or actually, you can use a better main weapon such as Ohm's wish or Aerokinesis but don't throw away your sage)
    also, make sure you mix up the spells you use, because if you cast meteor repeatedly, its spell cost will skyrocket. You could try spell-comboing like meteor-meteor-then switch to Ohonte to heal, and repeat (ice snake apparently does not slow down the warden, so ice snake is near-useless)

    Thanks! I'll try to do that. Also, this is slightly off topic but you seem like you know what you are doing - do you have any advice on how I should spend my skill points?

    At your level, put them into armour/weapon/accessory requirements, then fill up intelligence until a milestone (see here for the intelligence levels that actually do anything), and then probably put the rest into def.
    Haven't played mage before, but this us certainly what I do as a general formula.
