SPOILER The Eye Pet Dialogue That I've Found (and Translated)

The new Eye pet has some cool dialogue! is all in irish tho so its hard to understand, so i've translated all the dialogue i've found for now, more will be posted in the future if i find any more dialogue, also be free to post any dialogue you find, irish or transtaled, here it is:

1. Do you want to summon death to this world?. (summon pet)
2. I am the shadow in every corner. I hear the cry of all the people. and I will give them the greatest gift of this world.
3. Wynn will fall with a blink of my eye, starting with you.
4. You do not know the power of the dark side.
5. Do you think that you are my master?. (petting)
6. Leave my sight. (enemy kill)
7. The end has been reached... . (die)
8. Your power means nothing. (dungeon win)
9. the light is good, the light brings happiness, they say. But still, here the light only made a beautiful lie for them. A lie that turns the truth into greater pain. Is that 'good'?. (enter lutho) [@silverjh]
10. For over a thousand years this city stood. But will that resistance last long?. (enter ragni) [@silverjh]

Will it just randomly say this?

 

from what I can see with a rolling potato, pets have dialog for when you die, after killing something, and just randomly. another of my pets also just has no dialog, so it might be different for the eye.

 

AFAIK store bought pets have dialogues, crate pets don’t

 

the one with no dialogs is my wasp

 

The Eye suffers from Terraria Master Mode Pet syndrome.

That is, upon defeat, it shrinks to a harmless size and forever follows the one who struck it down, attempting to attack them but being unable to do anything and ending up being a glorified pet.

 

Most of the time yes, whoever i added some of the ways to get dialogue, also it doesnt have any dialogue when its sent and returned from pet tasks

 

Please do not pet your eye pets as petting is technically rubbing and rubbing your eyes is not good for them. Thank you.

These also don't trigger every single time you enter these areas, only sometimes. Might mean there is more area specific dialogue it has (couldn't get EO to say anything though)

Ragni I was able to get coming in through the Ravines, and Lutho I was able to get coming in from Toxic Drip. I would post the images but it's not letting me because I don't have enough posts.

You can just keep going in and out of the city if it doesn't trigger the first time and it will eventually appear, not sure if it triggers using warp scrolls though

 

Are dialogues 3 and 4 targeted toward mobs that the player kills, toward the player themselves, or do they just pop up randomly?
