    There's actually an explanation to this found within the game files. Apparently they were going to initially be used as slaves, but after the "13th Amendment" patch or smth like that they abandoned that idea.

    Why can't you hit other players withouth them being on pvp mode?

    Are they? Probably. I'm guessing that on Wybel island, if any of your pets are Wybels than they automatically one hit you, you're sent back to a city, you return, and the wybel wipes your memory irl of it killing you so it can enjoy killing you in the future.

    Did that make any sense?

    1.14 added Gavel: 1.20 is Gavel Reborn.
    1.15 added Wynnter: 1.21 is Wynnter Reborn (except in Spring because it's reborn)
