I Am Trying To Get An Archangel. Any Tips?

I already know that mythics are really really rare, about 7 in a million or something, but I really, really want an Archangel. I have been doing a few things over the past week or so, like grinding mobs with high LB, lootrunning Dernel jungle with high LB, etc. Cheapest one on the market right now is 4 stacks and some LE which confused me because according to all the posts I looked up regarding it, it's supposed to be one of the cheaper mythics.

I tried using the cave in front of Troms and also the trainer arena in ToL but I'm not sure about that one because trainers seem to drop 1 or 2 emeralds at most but still drop items.

I'm level 75 so I can't use loot quality gear. Any tips or grinding locations or areas to lootrun specifically would be greatly appreciated.

I found one in a random t1 chest in light forest, so maybe try coming up with a light forest lootrun? That's my best idea

 

damn. I've been opening every chest I see around its level but I haven't found anything yet. I don't think light forest specifically drops archangel but thanks lol

 

Im not sure for pre dernel jungle, but I know dernel jungle, dark and light forests, maybe some niche places in the ocean and CDS can drop ArchangeLs, rn the price is very wonky since its low supply so easy to put for upwards of 4 stx + TM recently coming back and Tanking mythics having good uses in 1.20.

All in all id suggest lr dark/light forest till you find one... or be unlucky and find an Az/Pure/Aftershock I guess

 

I don't really recommend archangel, its known as one of the worst mythics. I would recommend getting bob's mythic daggers, which is at your level if you have the quests done and is pretty good. Amadeus is also a viable option. Save your stx and time for when you can get endgame mythics.

 

I see. I'll keep that in mind, thanks. Should I keep a high loot bonus on me? I usually have something around 60 but I can get to 160 something with my LB set. I open most chests that I see around it's level.

also what's CDS and TMs?

 

Loot bonus caps at 80% for chests, though there are no caps for mobs.

TM=Trade Market; CDS=Corrupted Decrepit Sewers

 

for lootrunning I reccomend a set that has loot bonus, loot quality if possible and good mobility

Not just the Forgery Chest. As you know, dungeons can drop unidentified items upon competition, and as CDS is around level 70, it has a chance to drop a mythic that will likely be Archangel

 

I mean sure that makes sense but are Corrupted dungeons really even somewhat reliable for getting a mythic? I've never even gotten a legendary from a normal end of dungeon drop lol

 

Not even close xD I've heard of people getting mythics from there, but they were only happy accidents. Don't grind them lol. The forgery chest is probably better.
