No, sadly. The best version for Wynncraft to me is 1.12.2, since some objects and mobs are in 1.12 but not other versions.

 

But when I try to log in with 1.8.9 it says “Outdated client! Please use 1.8-1.16+“

 

Pretty sure it says 1.9-1.16 not 1.8. Even then, 1.12 is the right version as parrots (in dernal jungle), vindicators (in dark forest) and totems of undying as part of a mob exist. The new guild territory system also uses advancements which is a 1.12 feature

Yes. The server is technically running on 1.8, but it no longer supports that for players. 1.9 is the lowest possible and 1.12 is recommended as it is the most stable version.

 

I'm curious as to why you're wanting to use 1.8.9

 

first of all why
and second of all, there isnt a way to play with 1.8.9, but Wynn is incredibly stable on pretty much every version.

no I saw the 1.20 changelog, just was pointing out that 1.12.2 is more stable - other wynncraft versions will have more bugs

 

Name bugs that occur on non-1.12.2 versions besides some heads not loading in on occasion. What you said also literally doesn't say that all, if you're going to make a point about the stability/instability of the game/certain versions of the game, at least take the time to make it intelligible and not just repeating "1.12.2 good, 1.16 bad" which is what most people seem to do.

I've heard there's bugs with horses on 1.16 but idk its its been patched. Also, there's wynntils for 1.12.2 and other useful mods.

 

Wasn't asking if there are mods for 1.12.2. 1.16 has sodium, no other version has that ^^
Horse bug was patched, like I said, most of the hate for 1.16 is just mindlessly repeating "1.12.2 good, 1.16 bad" for no real reason whatsoever and people here have done nothing to disprove that
