earlier today, I was in almuj when I noticed 2 emerald golems not where they were supposed to be. I lost 4 skill points to them. I saw a person fighting them but i dont think he succeded. These events have been happening recently and I think they need to be prevented asap. The first thing you could do is make hostile mobs immediately despawn when they enter a city. The second thing you could do would be to give players invincibility when they die until they move. And the third thing you could do would be to put strong guards near low level to high level transitions, like the SE entrance so it would be very hard for high levels to wander out. This has to be done now because it is already a problem, and if the staff team doesn't do such a thing they stepped down to the level of Hypickle staff.

It's been that way for a while, and yes, it should be fixed asap, but I don't think the staff are terrible people for making the rest of the game playable and being busy with other things.

well shouldn't this be first priority? How can you play a game when you lose all your stuff because this idiot thought it would be a good idea to lure some All Seeing Witnesses into town?

I've often juggled with the idea that when all hostile get within a certain proximity of a city, the walsl, then they just die (without dropping loot of course). I don't know how easy this would be to implement (interrupts with quests maybe?), or if it would be possible to implement. But that's what I think is one overall solution to these events keep happening

The Wynncraft team is neither blind nor deaf. If they have not fixed this, I entirely trust they have their reasons to do so/they have bigger fish to fry.

There's a number rof reasons that they've cited as to why it hasn't been fixed. The most important is probably that there are meant to be hostile mobs in some cities. The golems, for instance are meant to be in the city, just only in the labyrinth. The issue with them is that they either spawn in the wrong location or that the mobs, well, take physics as a suggestion, not a rule. Mobs... er... ignoring certain laws of physics is something they've tried to fix but have had issues.

Other examples of mostly unavoidable mobs in cities include Thanos, Dogovi Maex (someday I'll finally remember the right name) and Rodoroc (all have mobs above the surface), Detlas (guard golems as well) and Ragni (Rats and Bob the Zombie). That is by no means a comprehensive list, but just some examples of why making it impossible for mobs to enter towns or harm players in them isn't likely to happen.

While I'm sure they've worked on other solutions, the problem is mostly that it would be hard to make a system that would work with those and other examples but still be effective at preventing player deaths.
