SPOILER Corruption Be Spreading In Ragni

Ah yes, Wynn, nobody talks about wynn because as soon as you go to gavel, you forget about it or go back for detlas and troms. But I noticed something strange, mainly in ragni. The corruption is spreading. Oh yes, the corruption is spreading and its getting closer to Ragni. With even Bak'al's return in RoL V, I am certain to say that Ragni will be attacked again by Dern and the corruption.

Here you can see that Ragni is being attacked by the corruption. These spikes are new and there might be more. While new players might ignore it, Ragni is going to have a bad time.

In this picture we can see that the corruption spikes have decided and emerged in this poor man's house.

Just take a visit yourself to Ragni and you will see, something is wrong. Visible NPC interaction that may be proof that the corruption is reaching ragni is Therck being angry but I have nothing to prove that this is the case so I'll just move on.

Don't forget about the new secret discovery, where we see the underground corruption is even more expansive than previously thought.

The empty brick space that's survived 2 separate forgery remakes says otherwise. Probably not coming for a long, long time though.

I'm not so sure actually. The corruption spreads through roots, and unless it can travel under the entire Ocean floor just to destroy a few islands, I don't think it will. It's been, what, 1000 years after the portal opened? The Corruption has reached most of Wynn, but unless I have missed something, I don't think there are even any corruption spikes indicating roots in even, like, the Mesa, the Jungle, etc. I also would be confused as to why the Corruption hasn't attempted to reach Gavel if it could cross the Ocean.

 

I didn't mean it was the near future. The corrupted dungeons are probably a couple 100000 years AP. Also, the theory the corruption can only travel through roots is debatable, because Skien's Island does not show any spikes/roots, and yet it shows signs of the corruption.

 

I think Corruption can spread as an influence without roots persay, but the terraforming that Corruption brings is brought about with the roots. Like netherrack and lava and stuff appear with roots, but people can still be corrupted without it. I'm forgetting, but is there not a solid answer to how Skien was corrupted? I haven't seen talk about that for a long time.

 

there are 2 spike formations in the Dernel jungle, and one on the border of the mesa and desert. I think a grind spot near troms has a corrupted theme too.

 

Alright, then Im wrong. Still though. 1000 years and the Corruptive influence has not really terraformed much. Look at the Roots of Corruption attack the Detlas defensive area compared to the random spikes around the map. Even the Angry village is relatively close to the roots.
