What Are Your Top 3 Favorite Remade Quests From This Update?

I just wanted to know what quests people enjoyed and didn't enjoy. Please include feedback you may have to give on something you liked/disliked in a quest in the comments. Please note that I will have to merge some entries due to lack of space, I am sorry. If you like both of the quests the most in 1 entry just write them down in the comments. :)

IMPORTANT: If you have experienced a quest bug/softlock it would be good for me if you not include that in your decision making. You have every right to be mad about a bug but I am looking for purely feedback from the quests gameplay/story/mechanics.

If you want me to change the forum poll to a straw poll in order to include all quests then lmk.

EDIT: Just so you know I didn't include The Feathers Fly or Hero of Gavel since they weren't remade quests, I might do another post later about favorite quests from 1.20 and include them there. (also space limits)

 

i've only done 2 and 1 currently stuck in because armor stands are wack (already reported, it's iron heart 2) iron heart 1 is still quite dark (story)

So far I did RoL 1 and 2 and I’m currently doing 3 right now; bugs aside, RoL 3 is a really good quest as it lets the player see Dullahan’s backstory and his relationship with Lari; I’m thinking RoL 5 would also be really good because you go into the actual RoL itself

 

I've done literally 1 and it was bugged and I got stuck and I can't do anymore. Other than that I think ROL 2 and 5 are cool and Forbidden Prison(the one I am stuck on) is pretty great.

Oh my gosh the new ROL series is amazing.

It feels like an actual world and story now and think Lari, Orphion, and Dullahan are good characters, the CT did a wonderful job with the characters.

III: I disliked the huge lore quest that was ROL III and wish it had more gameplay but overall I'd say these were great. Some of the Dullahan lore I felt was strange and done just to keep it sort of faithful to the old lore--oh an elf with a scarred face! He's the one causing the corruption! And all of the villagers go after him with no evidence or anything.

V: Also yay the final ROL quest wasn't a fetch quest. ^-^ It was really interesting despite being a little frustrating, the mobs were really tough for my level 97 archer with around 60 agility and 12k health, and the parkour thing was tough at first. Also how dare you make the best character in the game and shove her off into Dern, only for her words to be cut off by seeing the Dern Beast or something. She better live or we get to rescue her later or I'm . . . going to get really mad and emotional?

I: I think ROL I was a direct improvement from the old Wormholes, it was really enjoyable and the Grootslang little fight was cool.

II: Idk about ROL II it was alright. An improvement from the old Taproot for sure, but I hated that decision <:(.

IV: ROL IV was also super amazing but I miss the old one, I loved it for some reason. I especially liked the Lari fight and was fine with the 52 lines of dialogue afterward. The library thing was cool. I was a little annoyed at having to disrespect Lari's private conversation but her getting mad at the end and then becoming an amazing character who finally learnt her lesson was satisfying so I'll let this pass.

These were my favorite of the improvement quests and they were amazing (I still have a few to go but . . . bugs) ! Good job CT you're amazing!

 

Tbf iirc the villagers saw the infected dullahan near decay blocks so their thought processes were like that.
Also the Lexdale Witch Trials and the witch hunts from the 1600s would like to speak with you

 

Both Headless History and Finding the Light are incredibly dull when you do them more than once. It's just cutscene after cutscene as well as hundreds of lines of dialogue (Pretty sure one part of FtL has 52 lines of dialogue, which beats out A Journey Beyond, but the difference is AJB had a whole cutscene going on while the 52 lines of dialogue are Lari and the Guardian talking the whole time). Headless History in particular needs a way to skip the cutscenes if you feel inclined to do so.

Lexdale Witch Trials is unlike anything I've ever seen in Wynncraft and it's genuinely a very fun quest. Had a few issues with the parkour but I believe that to be due to early update lag so I won't let that affect my opinion of the quest.

Realm of Light is definitely much different and doesn't feel like a fetch quest as much as before, which I'm glad about. Hopefully Nexus of Light doesn't have any of the issues TCC currently has

I still need to do From the Mountains and Aldorei 1 tho
edit: Finished From the Mountains, very cool quest, I forgot about Hidden City tho, lol

Ive done Aquiring Credentials and the Iron Heart Questline and both were amazing.
An Iron Heart Part I is even more disturbing now (a good thing) and Aquiring Credentials was a lot more interesting than it was before (altho the commander puzzle was a little weird imo & there are some bugs. When I wanted to leave the commander puzzle area the NPC said "those are the commanders over there the waiter mentioned..." (something like that) but the waiter didnt say anything. Thats probably just a bug...

An Iron Heart II was entertaining too, but I have to say it feels like something is missing.
The prison with the kidnapped villagers is gone (which made the quest more immersive imo) and the new factory looks like a high tech CPU factory instead of this dark-flesh forging factory in the underground of the swamp, run by criminals... it looks too clean and orderly imo.
But its a good quest

I played the new Gregg'r ques too, liked it a lot more than the old one.

 

Out of the 4 reworked quest i've tried, 3 have glitched and i can't continue... soooo i don't know

 

For me RoL 1-4 was really good, and it felt really good to piss off Lari but then I felt that the transition of her from being a salty b*tch to a helpful friend is too sudden. And just in such a short amount of time she decides "its ok to fight and try to kill the bad guys" when she has always been "LiStEn tO mE" for 1000 years already?
Too drastic of a change, it really felt out of place. (tbf there probably need to be RoL 6+ if this problem is solved and its going to be a super long quest but I feel like it is definitely needed)
And yes, so many, so many bugs

 

I agree with this. Visually the quests look beautiful but storywise, this part kinda makes no sense.

If there was ever a point when she should of realized that her pacifist ways weren't working, it should of been when Dullahan first died or when she found out that he was a crazy murderer.

I just don't think that it's realistic that some rando she's only known for a couple months could have changed her mind over her boyfriend who's been trying to do that for 600 years.

 

I just wanted to add in that I love the direction that the new quests have taken.

Directions are a lot clearer now and all the new cutscenes and builds are great. Only thing that I think should be added is an option to skip cutscenes for the people who don't care to see them.
