SPOILER Lari Doomed Gelibord

So, I'm not assuming Lari is dead (I really hope she doesn't, a main character shouldn't die like that). I am certain her magic has weakened, the proof being the comms line was cut midway. And with that... comes some interesting thing. In this thread, I will talk about Dullahan. He is now free and will probably scrap Gelibord to rubber.

Plotline or accidental plot hole?
Now, this obviously is not good news. However, there is a catch: The player have made Dullahan relive the memories he had with Lari, and it might actually change him for the better, backed by the fact he sounds deeply sad. He might voluntarily stay in the castle to prevent himself from unleasing hell.

And, he doesn't even know Lari left. He might be waiting for her to come and release him from the Decay.

The direction CT might take to use this
When I first thought of this I was rereading one of the old thread, where people argue the endgame area will either be Dern or Fruma. A vivid idea suddenly come inside my head. A side quest in Fruma I named 'Magical Delivery' will reward the player with an item, and the dialogue will something be like:

Birdie: You delivered everything already? Nice job!
Birdie: Now, the Fruman tax is very high so I can't really pay you with pure emeralds.
Birdie: I have an alternative though.
Birdie searches the messy stash. Some stuff were so old it might as well be antique.
Birdie: Took a long while, but here it is!
Birdie: A vial of darkness and light combined, in it's rare harmony state.
Birdie: It was ordered by a crazy elf lady with pink hair. Seems to know what she's talking about.
Birdie: She paid me a lot for this, but never came to get it. You traveled to Gavel, think you should keep it.

The vial is a cure to Dullahan, and upon delivering the cure, he asks you all sort of thing, and in the end decided to open the portal to Dern and try to rescue Lari.

I think dullahan is going to be a raid or boss altar instead of being healed.

 

Wait, Dullahan was sad during part 3? Wasn't the only emotions he could feel pure hatred and annoyance at Lari cause she couldn't do what she needed to do and because she left him while he was vurnarable, without any form of protection leading to his death? Or it may have been just my emotions idk anyway pre corrupted-Dullahan confirmed ultra simp

When the player delivers the vial to Dullahan, would it restore him to the condition he was in before he was bitten by the Dernic Parasite from RoL 2 and 3?

 

Honestly it's my emotion too. Guess it's down to CT to determine.

I mean, Bak'al kinda did the same to RoL, and their power are parellel to each other...
And when light and dark clashes it creates corruption. No one said that Dernic Beasts can't be corrupted.

Probably even more powerful, I have to guess. Fruman magic has been proven to be powerful.
