Where To Get Lunar Charms/decaying Hearts In 1.20?

I know 1.20 is not around for that long, but I am wondering how we are supposed to obtain lunar charms in the new update. The darkkander lootrun was pretty much ruined and ingredient chances in chests was reduced a lot. Killing thousands of mobs for decaying hearts feels like the best new way of obtaining them. This will lead to a drastic price increase. But how about lunar charms? As far as I know lunar charms are supposed to drop from mobs on half moon island, but there exists no recording of that being true. Now that you cannot really get them from chest any more. It feels like they were removed from the game. If you got any ideas how to farm lunar charms in 1.20, please share them!

I was told the chance for getting them was nerfed this patch and from what I have seen a lot of those chest where removed too. I got my info from the profession discord. Did you run in 1.20?

Yeah, ingredient running in general has basically been destroyed, which is a huge shame. At least I saved one decaying heart that I'll be able to sell once the price balloons out lol

 

yeah I dont like 1.20 at all. I mean it got quite a lot of new fancy stuff, but they destroyed stuff like ingredient running and scrap farming

 

yeah really, lootrunning is the only viable meta now and even that has been nerfed significantly with ingredient spawning slowed to hell. Good thing I made a modest fortune before that happened lol

 

the only real thing you can do know is run for mythics. I collected data on the best money making methods throught 1.19 and this is what I figured out.
Best one= toa grinding with totems, dloot and lq -> nerfed
Lootrunning with lq= was nerfed hard in 1.19 -> nerfed
Scrap farming = was even better than lootrunning unless you got perfect gear with lq,disco and warp, res -> nerfed

Depending on the gear lootrunning used to be the second best/third best option. Now everyone will start to lootrun making it even worse. From what I tried the dungeon chest might be decent when dungeon bugs are fixed and you can run them without encountering game breaking issues.

 

I didn't even think about the lootrunning oversaturation, oh god that's gonna be a nightmare. I'd be down to maybe try the dungeon chest at some point with a team but I need to get a mythic through lootrunning first (personal goal)

 

you get a mythic from around 2.5k chests on average with 80%lb+ and 40% lq. Doing the standard run rodo/sky/void/cork/cotl is 278 chests. The best lootrunners on the server need around 40min to do that one with warp abuse. Therefore, it takes them ~6h to get a mythic. For dungeon chests it is on average 1 mythic every 100x7 dungeons, which takes on average w/o encountering bugs 30min. Therefore, it takes 50 hours’ worth of dungeons to get one mythic. Dungeon running is more than 8x worse than lootrunning.

 

lol, I only do corkus and have abysmal luck. So far opened 22k+ chests and still no mythic. and I'd say it's closer to 4k average than 2.5, at least that's what most people on the lootrun discord say.

 

You don’t get mythic from loot running as often as you’re saying. Most people say around every 3.5k chests with even higher lq, which has been what I’ve experienced as well.

 

I am not that big into lootrunning. The info I got on the stats is from venedar. How much lq do you use for that 3.5k/mythic rating? I am just curious for my calc. on the current best way of making money in 1.20?

 

I haven’t done any loot running in 1.20 yet, but in 1.19 I did around 3.4k chests with 65% lb between getting a mythic.
