I didn't say click the mobs wasn't fun, just a different thing to click

 

The thing is that I got most of my xp from quests (nearly no mob killing), secret discoveries (even less mob killing) and dungeons (good amount of mob killing, but not only that)
The only reason why I killed so many mobs is because stabbing is cool (and well, I did a good amount of solo wars, which arent necessary)

 

Welcome to the forums and game. I haven't been on HSB before but I am curious, for the people moving away from HSB, why are you doing it?

 

It's not easy to compare both games directly. Wynncraft's core concept is being an RPG, whereas Skyblock started as, well, skyblock and slowly evolves into different directions, ranging from RPG elements to pure grinding.

I guess a main thing people enjoy about Wynncraft is the huge world, connected by (mostly) cohesive lore, quests and buildings. It feels a lot like an actual game, whereas Skyblock is more "classic minecraft" with some added multiplayer mechanics and events.

When I compare any aspect both games have, I come to the conclusion it's included into Wynncraft in a more professional and balanced way and has basically more content than on Skyblock. Examples are the item systems (on Skyblock there are just way too many, unbalanced items nobody uses; on Wynncraft there are even more items but they mostly make sense), quests (The ~30 Skyblock quests don't really fit into the world; the 200+ Wynncraft quests and mini-quests are related to the map) or dungeons (on Skyblock only a single, very unbalanced one; on Wynncraft 17 I think). So the sheer amount of content paired with hours put into adjusting item abilities already makes a huge difference.

As a conclusion, Wynncraft offers almost anything Skyblock has (yes, even building an island in the sky will come in the next update), but overall seems more thought-through and finished (don't forget Skyblock is still a prototype game).
Also there's a nice community here (including responsive staff), custom and detailed resources / mobs (just look at Wynncraft bosses compared to Skyblock "bosses") and cool mechanics like custom parkour and puzzles.

The fact that every thread in this forum containing the word "skyblock" has 3x the amount of posts other threads have shows how controversary this topic is - and if you ask on the Hypixel forums, of course most people will tell you Skyblock's better than Wynncraft. For me, it's mostly the attention to detail, the amount of content and the consistency of lore / discoveries throughout the map that make Wynncraft so unique.
