    first of all dont use 1.16, instead get 1.12.2
    second, allocate more ram to your minecraft instance (if you dont know how then google it)
    third get a better pc

    get lithium mod and force salted to add compatability

    But as other ppl mentioned,using 1.12.2 is the best way to do it, as well as keeping OF installed

    If you are talking about fps lag then turn off vsync if you already haven't. It does basically nothing (atleast visibly) and sucks all of your fps.
