Turns out, instead of playing the game ive been reading forums posts

 

most of the time when I'm addicted I force myself to quit by giving away all my belongings, or getting rid of a couple of valuable items, then delete Minecraft entirely, id suggest giving that a try, then try to pick something else up to distract yourself (in my case its studies)

 

But like, why stop something you enjoy? What if I said Wynn was my only escape from reality that I've used to get away from my shitty irl for years now

 

Because deep inside I know its hurting me and its unhealthy... I always come back cuz of the nostalgia and my guild mates and friends but always get carried away, every time I leave I feel like I find myself as a person more...

One things certain, anything you do excessively will always be bad, no matter what it is.

 

I mean I had a similar reaction when I was younger because my graphics card stopped working and I wasn't too caring for missing out on playing the game, yes I was jealous of my friends who could play but I didn't really care for playing it I much more enjoyed being in discord calls etc. Which is why I started talking to people so much because I cared more for friends then my ingame stats.

You can still connect with the people you play with, I forced a break on myself a little over a week ago, I still check up with my guild mates every so often, and I don't have an incentive to play much anymore as I find I have ALOT more time to do other things when I'm not on wynn 8 hours a day...

Quarantine do be making things hard at the moment though, so it does limit your options... for me I just try to pick up new skills (I've been cooking for myself more since I have more time, catch up with irl friends, music, exams and such.

I probably will eventually come back to wynn because of reasons stated above, and I know my guild mates and friends will be there waiting for me when I do return, so a little 2-3 month mental health break every so often doesn't hurt :)

I suggest taking this temp ban as an opportunity to give yourself a reason to distance yourself from the game. Just give yourself a week, even a few days. Delete Minecraft and discord if you have to. At first you'll find yourself bored out of your mind and having nothing to do, which is completely normal! After all, you've been playing wynn so much, its become a habit and its all you know to do when you're awake. But I promise you, just give it a week. A week without anything that reminds you of Wynncraft, I promise you'll feel better.

Thank you for your concern, Honestly I don't know anymore but I think it's both. It's definitely not a joke and people should take wynn less seriously, Not saying i'm one of those people
